swish! no its my bad too! It annoys me too, just cos I'm young I'm meant to be dangerous! I'm not comapared to most of the people on the road, especially the 85 yr olds who probably pay fa for their insurance, and drive EVEYWHERE at 20mph, causing accidents! No justice! lets and make up

Deffo Mine was 1800 quid for my first year, insured from 17, third party fire and theft on my 1850HL with Sprint alloys. Next year it was only 550! .....when I had the Sprint it cost me 30 quid to add it to my policy for a month.... Now it's about 480....current project car is going to be interesting for quotes though, mind, some interesting abnormalites are showing up with some insurers

If you are a named driver, but the principal user of the vehicle, then you need to declare that to your insurers. I was named driver (but principal user) on my Amazon until recently (only just 25), and lived at a different address to the policy holder (dad) but it was all legal. That way, it worked out being £700 instead of £1500!! The brokers even used to give me a cover note with my address on it whenever I had to renew my resident's parking permit, as the car wasn't registered at that address. Now I'm 25, it's £500 with no ncb, but clean licence and no accidents. Yup exactly,... basically your parents act as a garentor ,.. I managed to wangle 5 years ncb after 4 years on my dad's insurance,... but my dad worked at an insurance brokers
