Ok so those that went to RRG would probably have seen this and heard us try to get it running!
I have a workshop at a farm, the guys who I rent my workshop off, Father Edd and Son Rob are mad and I invited them to come to RRG with our group.
I explain how it's encouraged to have some sort of petrol powered contraption to ride around the camp site and Rob comes up with the idea to make a petrol powered picnic bench.
We picked this up on the Tuesday evening before the Gathering!
Rob and Edd spent the evenings and Friday morning creating it! I didn't touch it as I was still balls deep in getting my Commer running in time for the Gathering!
So it had run for approximately 5 minutes in our ownership and it was finished minutes before being loaded on to a trailer and brought to the Gathering!
It failed to start and run properly all weekend despite Rob and Ed trying numerous things to resolve it.
In the end it seems to be a combination of too tight valve clearances, which needed the valves to be removed and the stem ground down! And a tiny spark plug which is probably from a 2 stroke chain saw!
But now it runs!
I'll try and upload a video
