	Tonight just before beer o clock a group of young men came round to flip the chassis over on its side as I am no longer in good enough shape or health to do it. Jimmy inspecting Now I have access to grind down welds clean up chassis dig ot the ole seam sealer retreat bare metal.

	To night I spent 30 minutes grinding down the welds, an other areas that had some rust starting. Then brushed on zinc primer then 2nd coat looks better now damaged repaired areas look good now

	Got the first coats of stone chip on slightly thinned down 1 litre wasn t enough so I'll get another litre tomorrow for the final coats Young lad always appears when I am in the garage watches all

	Great work, seeing what had been done to your doors is what puts me off sending my car anywhere, but you've done a cracking job in fixing it. Been reading for a while in the back ground

	I just mean shoddy standards in general, I have a mk3 Astra with a rusty arch, but seeing what "professionals" do and what they charge for it puts me off, I least I know its just rust rather than filler and rust atm

	thank you i showed adrian the comments ,as he always says theres a difference in a restorer than a back st garage or so called professionals, coming on bit by bit just waiting for white stone chip to come in tomorrow in adrians shop

	Went to af components to collect 2x1 litres of promatic stoneCHIP, this time sprayed with no stonechip first coats used to build up. 2nd coats went on lovely nice light rippled effect. Will paint later in vw candy white 2k

	Well I just finished spraying candy white 2k onto base of chassis I lashed 1 half litres on till I run out 1 half hours spraying allowing 10 minutes between coats well covered and very glossy finish

	YES NORMAN ILL CHECK FRONT BARKES GREASE UP BEARING ,STRIP THE BRAKE PIPES ALL BIT S ON FRONT FRAME HEAD AND PREP THAT THEN PAINT BUILD ETC

	Just spent an hour half scrapping crapp from frame head, first disconnect flexi pipes taken off the horse shoe clips to release them and brake pipes. Even with body off the brake nuts was no copper grease applied doh. Next master cyclinder nuts that where far to long. Back to scrapping a bit more. Then the horn, I jacked chassis up on a 4x3 piece of wood lowered this on Jack stands. Then off with the front beam, I was glad I done this as the whole area needed much attention. I used a wood chisel to scrap as much off the seamsealer, then out with the angle grinder. I then hoovered up all the dirt all over the chassis and frame head, next 2 coats of zinc on head and spot primed floors. Horse shoe clips
