On my Corsair it has a similar slave mounting mine was stuck as well I removed all of the seals and internals and use a butane torch and some big stilsens and heated the bell housing casting and rocked/twisted the slave and it came out after a little working but you cannot rush getting it out.

you have a 100e, fitted with a 109e engine and box. it isnt 107e spec. look for a 1600 xflow, it bolts right in. Would that mean itโs the 1340 engine, with the hollow crank? Iโve heard d that a zetec would bolt straight on too

I was thinking the same. Getting the piston out might be a problem though. If you can you could try putting a slit in the alloy part from the inside. It might then be possible to crush it a bit and release it from the gearbox then. My Volvo has an alloy bellhousing and a previous whoever had broken part of the mount off.

Have a look on ford 100e.Com on Facebook plenty of advice on there, old ford autos do a front end conversion kit,it all bolts on using escort parts.

Got the curse word thing out.....using everything!!  ........and went for its first drive........then it ran out of Petrol (using the washer bottle as fuel tank, need to check lines)

I do know of someone in the black country area that has fitted a Turbo Rover K series from an 800 like Jim's it sounds great and drives very well.

Iโm stuck with these steels, the pcd is 5.5 x4
So gunna get these banded, Iโve got the original smooth centre caps too, so will look pretty similar ๐๐

Ok I thought all ford of the 1960's age were 108 x 4 PCD I did not know there were 140(5.5") x 4 wheels/hubs used. Banding is your only option
