I suspect the targeted buyers are in Ireland and Europe and coz the £ seems to be fluctuating so much of late post the brexit drama :-) I'm not advertising it for sale in the UK for the time being (I plan on enjoying it at a few shows beforehand), Someone was enquiring about one on a FB group so I thought I would put it up as available, and the only option is to price it in euros. No global conspiracy

Are you bringing it to the gathering? We'll see what happens. TBH I don't like the bad vibes that have aculminated in this thread and have messaged those involved in an attempt to bring some peace. Life is too short for negativity.

So an bit of a vague mashup sincew the last few posts. the car is back on the road and driving, once all put back together, reconnected the engine fired to life. Once on the road it felt a bit slow to accelerate so I cruised it around town and then up and down the A1. After the second run on the A1 the vacuum secondary (carb) decided to work and BAM! She's a goer! The 4 speed box is a bit like stirring a paint bucket but it all adds to the charm. Temperature sits at a steady 80 unless being driven hard at which point it goes up to 95ish. The fun and games being over, decided to adjust the rear brakes, bleed the brake system, bleed the clutch and check the fluid levels. The clutch bleed nipple was rounded off so I took one from the spare 280sx brakes I have which fitted perfectly. The completed(ish) and cleaned interior Spare new mats I had for another car put in to protect the original 'Skyline' mats underneath Straight body... crappy paint. To summarise.... I want it lower. I may change the exhaust to achieve this. I will need to run 14's to drop it anymore as I've rolled the arches as much as is possible without losing the original lines, or change to narrower wheels. The ride is relatively smooth and there is pretty much no body roll although currently quite firm but that can be adjusted with the coilovers. Another Hakosuka on the road.

Good to see you have persisted.
Personally I don't think it needs to be much lower, I think it just needs bigger wheels with smaller tyres.

Engine bay looking a bit cleaner than when I got it. #outtake Arch roll fail - On full suspension drop, the arch roller is nowhere near where it needed to be Cleaning up the scuttle panel... really the whole car needs this treatment as the layers of paint built up in places is unreal. Original air filter being given a new lease of life. Original windscreen wipers stripped down and new blades retro fitted. Wing bottoms repaired New VIN plate to replace the knackered old one

I think you've pretty much nailed it. It looks tough as hell, nice bit of patina, a bit sleeperish and generally tough all round. Kinda like an old circuit racer painted over in black
I think that turbo motor should find it's way in, then it'll have the punch to match the looks

I still need to fit the front splitter. The turbo motor has been overhauled and is now in an early Z car

awesome work chap, not really in to J stuff myself (might explain why I don't understand the gear stick) but i'd 100% have one of these.
Looks bloody excellent. Enjoyed reading the thread including the small riot that broke out in the middle. Car stuff always brings drama. Hope you manage to keep hold of it, they seem to be commanding silly money.
10 points for effort!

So the current 'to do' list consists of going through the garage and playing 'swap the wheel' and fit the front lip. ...I have a few other things in mind but I'll keep that to myself until it's done
