why do i never look good in photos?* *rhethorical question, so please, no witty comments. ok, maybe a few. ;D those 2 essys and capri were a disgrace to the ford badge. they should be confiscated and donated to someone who can give them the treatment they deserve. some tastless little dickweed who fcuks his mam shouldnt be allowed them.

Please tell me those Mk2s were done "tongue in cheek"? I can see a bloody award on the white one. When line dancing goes bad...

Seen them a few times before, think they bought them when mk2`s were worth nowt and then just did loads of cosmetic styling to them A pic from last year to show the "mad dog" bonnet

Yup! Those are 1 1/2 litres (RMA / early RME - dark blue badge) rather than the 2 1/2 litre (RMB / RMF - light blue badge & longer front end). 1.5 is a tad underpowered due to the weight (a prewar Riley 1.5 saloon is much lighter so will be quicker) but 2.5s can do 90 and were popular in their day as police cars. Engines are all long stroke twin cam hemi 4s, with rack & pinion steering, torsion bar ifs & tubular shocks (all in 1946 abeit cribbed off the Citroen TA) so handles well. Sadly the body construction is a frightening concoction of ash, steel, expanded steel, padding & the vinyl / leather roof.... Beautiful cars though & one day I want a 2.5

To get a standard A40 this low, you'd have to dig a hole to put it in
