Hi all ;D I've brought myself a '73 Beetle 1303. I'm just thinking about what I'm going to do with it. The thing I'm not sure about is the wheels. Most of the Beetles you see have the same alloys on them, theres nothing wrong with them, don't get me wrong, but I'm thinking of something different. Just looking for some insperation. I've been looking for a set of Cosmics. I know you do see them about, but not as much as most. and besides... They look awsome on a Beetle ;D ^ Borrowed from VZi

Oh so you got it then Dan? Thought that other lad off of the Jensk had is heart set on it? Nah Lee, he was thinking about it, but he wasn't 100% if his parents would let him have it because it needed a bit of work.

www.kinkymickshappywheelshack.com/wheelsvin.htmlKinky Mick is the man for different wheels! No empi 8's on there or these for a measly £125.... are you going for a particular 'look' or just want something different? There's always the porsche route to go down with adaptors which are readily available

Never trust a man Who names himself Trevor. Or one day you might find He's not a real drug dealer.

Nah Pillock, not after any look, just something that I like. I was thinking of Porsche wheels. I like the look of the gas-burner ones, but looking for something a little different first. Liking the American Racing wheels, but liking these too ;D Mag Industries - £200 Superior - £300 Gemini - £150

^ Thats exactly what I was thinking!
I don't want to go over the top with all the bolt on stuff you can get. What you've said is the plan.

the only other thing is i've seen ppl put the indicators on bugs in the headlights to get rid of the ones on the wings which is no bad thing, looks a tidy bug, i love the colour & as it it its very Ted-Bundy, if you've seen the film hehe

Was thinking that to about the indicators, but I don't mind them too much. Adds to the 70's ness Ted Bundy!!! Not seen the film, but know of him.
