thats ver true the indicaters do ad to the 70's-ness, i think a bit of beetle dragstip/streetstrip influance is good the sort of things to do with bug that only the ppl in the know recognise, even though its a 1303 a fruity exhaust & big revcounter, harness's, bronze window tints with the bluw would look good, i've never had a vw of anytype but they have a fair bit of appealeven if seen as a scene vehicle, i don't bother about stuff like that

Yes indeed, some 70's style rims with a bit of dish and a few race influenced mods would suit it for sure.  That blue just gives me Gulf Porsche vibes for some reason as well.............hmmm |

The MAGs are great.... I bought a 1303 as my first car which had them on, refurbed them and they went on my blue T3 and I've still got them for the new T3.  They're magnesium, sooooo light. I reckon the tyres weigh more than the wheel! Had to be a bit careful stripping the paint off though as it's quite soft. Good looking bug there, reminds me a lot of mine. Sob! I had it plastered with stickers on the back windows, lowered at the front (which on an 03 is just a spring-chopping job) and I'd put clear indicators on the front and smoked lenses on the back. That really made a difference and they're only a few quid. |
