Hmmm..........DVLA vs VOSA? FIGHT!!!!!!!!
Seriously though, it looks like the goverments about to use it's "divide and conquer" mentality on itself! Result:- the two departments are too busy fighting each other to actually implement anything, so I reckon we've been given a few month's grace.

If someone has a car and can prove it was built prior to 1997 even if its not correctly registered now or is changed slightly again now then you will probably be OK........ ........I have also heard stories I don't know if are true or not about the VOSA inspection vans stopping people and checking them out. Trouble is with VOSA, you have to prove otherwise not them. So let me get this straight, they have powers to stop any innocent citizen without prior notice, warrant or suspicion of criminal activity, and then the innocent citizen has to prove that they are acting within the law? whatever happened to innocent until proven guilty. I guess we are good 23 years past 1984 now, they are bound to tighten up their regime in that time a bit
