You posted a thread about the "tractors" that rural teens drove.
It seems to have gone missing when the board address changed.
Anychance you could repost them?

meatballturbo in da house: You posted a thread about the "tractors" that rural teens drove. Can't really recall it but do a Google on EPA Traktor or A Traktor, you can also do an EPA Traktor or A Traktor search on www.garaget.org and I'll guess you'll find a bunch of these things.... DP says: Some cool some not so but a fun way for kids to get around....

Cheers, they were the ones. Cool, I search it out. Apparently they want to bring in the "120 hours practical driving learning" here, but without any other way of driving other than with a driving instructor.

They've been slowly moving towards intructor only tuition for ages, & especially for instructor / driving school cars for driving tests.
I still think that all new drivers should have to drive competely standard Moggy Minors for the first year or so after passing - the wonderfully bureauratic (requires countersigned written notice in triplicate) brakes would teach them a lot about looking & thinking ahead!

Yeah I had a Mk2 Polo as my first car (unassisted brakes) and that helped with looking ahead etc.
Still ended up crashing after 5 weeks.

Remember, I've only been driving 6 years myself even though I'm 38. I passed in the instructors Punto Diesel, but had been practicing and spent the next 9 months, driving my old Estelle. And that had a knackered servo (and passed the MOT) so it was like standing on the pedal and then waiting for anything to happen.

You should have tried an A35 for 18 months!
