Right, I'm off down the lock-up for a few hours activity. Just recently I've been making in roads into getting all my cars road worthy. So a clear out has been had, and parts allocated to jobs, lists made etc.
Watching the progress that members like Nitemares, Slater and the others have made has fired me up to do some of the same.
So just wondered what everybody has got planned for the coming weekend? Retro related of course... Then on Monday we can swap notes on how we got on. Just me trying to get myself going. ;D
Jobs for this afternoon - Swap door cards in BMW for decent ones.
Clean up newly purchased 1776 motor for buggy.
Job tomorrow - Pick up T3 Syncro van from London for a pal.
Bring it on! Pics on Monday ;D

This weekend I will be going down Santa Pod for Flames and Thunder ;D, really looking forward to it as it's only my second ever visit to the pod. I will try and get some decent piccies of anything remotely retro.

I've got plenty to do this weekend too: Replace the exhaust on my GFs friend's Citroen AX, it's being held on by a sock ATM Clean the Audi as it's looking very neglected and change the oil. Change the oil on my GF's Seicento, check the front brakes as they are squealing, 2 new rear tyres and sort the heater out as its not blowing hot air anymore and she isn't very happy about that! And carry on with the Mini as I still have alot of enthusiasm for that. Better get going as it will be dark in 2 hours

Full service on the new addition - oil, plugs etc etc, maybe even stem seals too! Then take some pics for Readers' Rides. Full service on the daily driver and new rear brake hoses. If I'm really lucky, might have the new windscreen fitted! It's out of MoT monday....

my weekend will be spent .... 1) sorting the exhaust on the benz so it is ready for the mot 2) sorting the bonnet pull on the benz, cos it pisses me off with it being broken 3) clearing and organising the barn which is a sh!t tip at present 4) finish boarding the loft (and setting up the scalextric!) 5) do some of the easy jobs on the 411

I need to make my S14 Nissan 200sx start so that I can start prepping the engine swap into the Datsun 910.
Last time I worked on the Nissan I spent five hours with a mate trying to figure out why the fuel relay wouldn't fire before I realised that the immobiliser was switched on.

I'm sticking glass in the Pop tomorrow. Just been gutting some fire hazard wiring out the car that looked well suspect and I'm about to cut some holes for the rear lights.
Might fire it up and drive it round the carpark when I can see out.

Missus is away on Sunday so I'll be going down to see my secret Audi (feels so wrong) and having a check over to see exactly what it needs bodywork wise. This is with the view to consolidating my collection as I only really have the space, time and cash to deal with one at the moment. Try and make a good one out of the two... I have two hockey matches to play before that though.

Strange coincidence I've just been out in the garage tidying up all the bits and bobs left over from my clutch/flywheel/gearbox swap a few weeks ago and making room for some more tinkering to commence under cover now the weather is getting colder! Not sure what, if anything, I'll get done this weekend but sure I'll be out there at some point, difficult to resist now I have a bit of space! I really need to service my g/f's Lupo but it's never at home long enough for me to get started!
