That Austin/Lotus 7 thing is fugly. The Armstrong Siddely isn't pretty but has some grace to it. Here's a shiny one

Haven't seen any A-S, let alone a pre war one for a long time. is it preselector? If so, would be neat to keep that even if the Triumph lump were to be fitted.

I'd hot rod it, i know i'd want better brakes and steering on it and i'd be worried about it dissolving if left with half its paint missing.

Volvo back as my main squeeze, more boost and some interior goodies on the way.

Was at an A-S owners meet at the start of july. theres no caseing arround the fly it just seems to go fly-clutch- prop-box based on what i saw looking through the bonnets of so many! Ive got osme pictures some where will try and get them up in the next few days (moving again)

The Triumph lump is supposed to be same dimensions as the stock unit, so says the seller. He has the Trump 'box to go with so you'd use that and have a 4 spd manual / od.
I could live with the lack of brakes and suspension. The A-S was a high quality luxury car in its day, they will be OK for moderate driving with a Triumph 6 in there I'm sure.
Yeah, to stop it disolving it wants paint.
