I have a lot of mostly Ford stuff (some Audi, Citroen, Pug and BMW) for sale, circa 2000. Parcel shelves and a couple of door cards, mostly exterior trim. Its all clearance stock. New in bags or boxes. Cheap. If you interested in buying the whole lot let me know. See my photobucket album.... s714.photobucket.com/albums/ww143/suterman102/ebay%20things/?start=60

My missus had a fit when she saw I had used the inside of my shed door to clear out the nozzles of spray paints. I was like, "its on the inside of the shed and the door is pretty much always shut" she said "yeah but it looks a mess" I said "yeah but its on the inside!"

It seems a little lame to me that you could take any car and plonk the same roofrack and leather suitcase on top and call it retro Its just a bit old hat (excuse the pun) and easy to copy. I suppose some people just want to have the best of both worlds.
At the end of the day a retro car and a more modern but retro styled car are two different things but thats not to say the latter doen't belong here.
My cars aren't particularly cool or retro but I feel I fit in here. To me, the feel of retro rides is all about petrol heads who love to mess about with there own cars in their own time, some like working on cosmetic stuff and some prefer the mechanical side of things, whatever floats your boat

I will measure mine when I can find my tape measure, should be rooting round the shed today so chances are I will find it.
Have you thought about using Transit van racks? What is the width you are after?
PS, I had a 240 rack on one of my 740s, it fitted if you yanked it. (it was a bit narrow)

I have use red Hammerite aerosol on mine, I put about 3 or 4 coats on over the course of a day or so. it is doing fine, I think the trick is to leave it to harden for a few days before you start messing with it.

From my childhood. I start off with the XZ lasertron, part of the planetron series by Corgi. My nan gave me this when I was about 4. Next is this little hotrod thingy, don't remember where it came from but its made by buddy L (japan) Next is this Matchbox "superfast" mini articulated truck, I had this when I was very little This is one of two, I don't have the jerry vehicle, got it off a mate when I was tiny, made 1971-72 Ford D 800 truck by Dinkey/Meccano, this came as a kit and you had to assemble it, I have vague memories of my dad making it up for me. Now boarding the k-22 SRNG Hovercraft for the Calais - Ramsgate crossing, Its soo cool, when you push it along the prop and radar thing go round. Retro Ooof. 1983 Zakspeed Mustang more ooof A pickup truck that used to have a motorcycle in the back. Cue hill street blues theme. 1975 Britains farm toys UNIMOG Recovery truck. Majorette Renault tractor unit. I got this on holiday in france when I was about 8 Another recovery truck, wacking great Peterbuilt, 1978 And finally a couple of classics. 1937 Mercedes Benz 540 K One of my all time favorites, 1931 Stutz bearcat Hope you like, add your own favorites.

I have for sale a 3kw 3 phase compressor with 125 litre tank, 10 bar working pressure.
It needs a new switch, some oil and a bit of a clean up. I can't guarantee its condition as I have not seen it working but there's not much to them.
It's very heavy (150kg ish) and big, but it will go in the back of my Volvo estate if anyone needs it delivering at 70p per mile (one way)
I can supply a single phase motor if required for an extra £15 (you fit it)
Picutres to follow if anyone is interested.

You could take all the foam and other junk (sound deadening) out of the airbox if it has any, then drill a few big holes in the airbox upstream of the filter.

When looking you need to watch out for rust where at the base of the pillars where the italians welded and painted it.
If you plan to keep the original engine look for regular servicing as the cam journals wear with mucky old oil.
4 cyl turbo conversion should be pretty straight forward (use the 940 engine and managment as the internals are stronger and the managment is better)
