If you're happy to have restricted used of your classic then go ahead and sign it.
The majority of people here have more sense and are not interested.

ummmm WOW!!!! springs to mind. that is awesome. I'm assuming there's gonna be wide arches on it to cover the wheels, although I quite like it as it is. Yep, I like it just the way it is . . .

6? I could easily find 60 - but that would be contrary to the point I'm trying to make. Guess we just have to agree to differ

Not quite sure why you feel the need to publicly 'out' one particular car out of the 1000s of similarly modded motors on eBay and elsewhere on the net when the matter has been discussed in such detail on here that the vast majority of members are quite capable themselves of making their minds up about such things. For the rest of you have a random pic to make up for my moan: Quite simply, someone may be thinking about buying it, and no-one wants them to enter a world of pain and expense if the vehicle hasn't already been tested? So, lets out all the cars on this forum and the many other forums that are technically illegal then - where will that get us? Oh yeah an empty forum where everybody is too scared to post pics of their cars.

Interesting but I wonder if it is legal? the listing doesn't mention it having had a BIVA inspection - would have thought it would be major plus point in a listing if it had Not quite sure why you feel the need to publicly 'out' one particular car out of the 1000s of similarly modded motors on eBay and elsewhere on the net when the matter has been discussed in such detail on here that the vast majority of members are quite capable themselves of making their minds up about such things. Mmm that pretty much puts things into perspective - I was surprised how big the Bini was when it was launched but didn't realise it was that big! So in theory, with all that room, BMW could have produced it with seats that fold down into a bed just like the Maxi . . .

Pretty pointless feature in Retro Cars magazine - 4 pages to show you how to do it with one sentence right at the end telling you its illegal.
OK for track cars if you decide to go night racing I guess . . .

Fred M Zeder raced for Chrysler at Watkins Glen but was beaten by Briggs Cunningham. As a result of this he decided to build his own car. This debuted at the Turin Show in 1953 and featured a Dodge V8 motor. At the show it won top honours for 'style and design'. The car was available with two bodies - one designed for the road, and one designed for the track. Unfortunately I can't find any pics of the track version, only the road car - but what a beauty!

'tis true that when I used to be a freelance for the mags they used to sell many more than they do now . . . Who did you do work for? I'm always interested to know who's about Lots of people don't realise the mag only see roughly half the cover price, and how many people refer to the Newsagents as a library? I saw a guy in the motorway services the other day pretty much read a mag from cover to cover at the stand, I bought, drunk and finished a coffee whilst he was there. Put it back and walked away... Even I felt like saying something. Have been 'retired' now for nearly 10 years. I started with a dozen or so pieces in Practical Classics, then quite regularly in 'Car Mechanics', but mostly in 'Classics' (now ' Classics Monthly') every month for about the first 4-5 years of its existance. Do I want to do it again? No thanks! It doesn't matter how enthusiastic the staff and freelancers are, as I'm sure you know the publishers are only interested in the 'bottom line'.
