What is your issue with the oily fuel? Have the same engine in my S60 and it doesn't hang about.
I have no issues with diesels, the D5 is a great engine, love mine, had it 6 years now and I have never kept a car longer than 2 years before this..

I know you said no diesels but,,,, I have a 2003 volvo v70 d5, cracking engine, great economy, not a bad turn off pace and if you do as I have and poly Bush the wishbones and stabiliser bar quite a bit off fun around the twisty's.
And a volvo estate really annoys people in 'sportier ' cars that can't pull away from you..lol

Great cars, had a 528i 6-7 years ago, loved it and still miss it now.The look off disgust on kids in hot hatches when these old barges leave them standing is awesome.

Remember the old man having couple of these as company cars in the mid 90's, I must be missing something as I hated the things tbf,.They were diesel ones and remember if you wanted to overtake something the process was drop it a gear or two, switch the air-conditioning off and kiss your before pulling out.... At the time I had a 1600 mk 3 cavalier that was waaaay quicker and had 150k on the clock...

So suffered the Saturday afternoon ebay boredom....picked up a 12'' led lightbar for £18...be okay for front off the van, question being it been years since I put extra lights on a vehicle, back then it was all halogen and relays.
These days with led about do I need to go relay route or with lack off heat build up can I wire directly from battery via fuse and switch?

Due to buying a new trailer for tip runs my old one is now up for sale, very tatty and have started to strip it before being offered the one I have just bought. Steel angle frame, 6x4 but needs new plywood as all rotten.Would be an ideal teardrop Base though. Located in LE9 for collection only.pictures available by email, come take a look, make me an offer and take it away.....

As said, get it onto a machine to check the codes out . What is your oil level like? Was bought off a gent in his 70s that had it from new, think he checked every level an tyre pressures every week...oil just below max line and doesn't seem too move..

Hi My work vehicle is a lwb Citroën relay 2.2hdi 100 odd bhp last off the old shape on a 2006, the fuel consumption is around 20ish to the gallon which is a tab expensive. The exhaust tip is caked in soot so suggests running very rich in my mind, what can I do too rectify this if anything? Thanks in advance

So after a couple off nights last week driving around unlit country roads I realise the headlights are akin to 2 cheap torches mounted up front, if i were to order a led lightbar off ebay say a 18 or 20inch jobbie how would i stand on the wiring front???

Just had too remove the glue residue from signwriting on my newly aquired van, previous owner went a bit mad with the hairdryer to remove vinyl but got it so hot the glue was welded on, nothing would shift it until i got a thinners soaked cloth on it....worked wonders in record time....

i fit loads of led lamps at work, just check the rating of whichever lamps you buy but usually fine with correct fuse and switch,no relays needed.you will not be disappointed even with a low lumen output lamp What rating should i be looking for too run a switched/fused supply?.
