So suffered the Saturday afternoon ebay boredom....picked up a 12'' led lightbar for £18...be okay for front off the van, question being it been years since I put extra lights on a vehicle, back then it was all halogen and relays.
These days with led about do I need to go relay route or with lack off heat build up can I wire directly from battery via fuse and switch?

i've got some light bars to fit on mine,i will be using relays as a matter of course. I have been advised that some cheap chinese jobs should be run via relays, there have been some issues with them killing switches and wiring.

Always relays and fuses for these. Saves long-term agro for the sake of a couple of quid.
