Weld pro stars 8.5 inch wide, 15 inch diameter, 4.5 inch back space. Bought second hand, but were basically brand new. The guy I bought them off fitted them to the car once, but the tyres rubbed the chassis rails. I have never fitted them to anything. So they are totally mint. £100 plus postage Cheers Sean

Aston Martin 4 pot Brembo calipers (no pads) Bought to adapt to a project, but never got round to it. I suspect that they are the same as the ones fitted to Jag XJR/XKR's. £125 plus postage, and they are pretty heavy considering! Cheers Sean 07581 470033

Hi All,
Does anybody know of a car transport/recovery firm in the West Midlands, that can move a Land Rover Discovery?
I'm guessing this rules out the smallee transit sized recovery trucks, and would require a 7.5 tonner?
Needs moving from Coventry to West Bromwich.
Thanks in advance Sean

4 off 7.5" X 17" Alpina replicas, came off an E46 coupe, but will fit E36 as well. A few scuffs and some peeled lacquer, see pics. Tyres are probably just about legal, but are old and could do with new ones. Price reflects that it is just wheels really. Located in West Bromwich, West Midlands £75 Sean 07581 470033

1966 Chevy El Camino for sale. No MOT or Tax, is registered in UK correctly as a 1966 Chevrolet El Camino, and is tax exempt. Picture is pretty old, will get some new ones at the weekend. Only difference from picture shown is that the front bumper is missing (don't ask!) and the bonnet (hood!?) is now matt black, had problems with surace rust coming through, so took it back to bare metal and primed with zinc primer, just put the matt black on to cover the bright yellow primer! Interior is pretty ratty, has original bench, which is pretty shot to be honest. Could throw in a couple of as new black leather Mondeo seats if you are quick (they will be going in an advert in parts). Speedo doesn't work, wiper switch doesn't work, but a new wiper switch is included. Also have new rubber seal for doors. Engine is a 350 small block, unknown heritage (truck was originally a 283 manual), but has a edelbrock intake and a 4 barrel carter carb (same as new edelbrock carbs). Its not ran for ages, but I don't expect there to be too much wrong with it. Ran sweet when in use. Gearbox is now a TH350 auto. Car has manual drums all round, surprisingly good once you get used to it. Obviously takes a good prod to get it to stop it, the main problem is when you go the other way and get back in something with a servo, and start throwing your passengers through the windscreen! lol Still has the five spokes on it, and they are original straight spoke torque thrusts (hence the drums, these wheels will not fit over most disk brakes) There is little bits of surface rust showing through, but really only needs a rub down and paint. There is no real rust to speak of. Its been stood for a while now, due to various family crisis's, and just want it gone now. Ive already got something that needs to take its place oon the drive, so I really don't want any PX's, sorry. PM me on here, ring me on 07581470033, or e-mail me on s.toole at sky.com

I have this on DVD, one of my favourite films If you like this try Destination Doha a documentary but well worth a viewing to see how they did it in the 70's If you like Destination Doha, then this thread on the Middle East run will interest you. Be warned, there's quite a few hours reading! www.trucknetuk.com/phpBB/viewtopic.php?f=35&t=13629

Model: Volvo V40 T4 Year: 1998 Mileage: 116000 Tax: End August MOT: March 11 Location: West midlands Price: £695 Additional Information: Volvo V40 T4, lowered (not by me, so not sure by how much oe using what springs) on 17" Wolfrace wheels. Sits quite nice and handles well. Black leather, air con, central locking, electric windows all round, electric sunroof, cruise control. All works OK. Body work in really good condition apart from a small dent in the tail gate (can just make it out in the pic below). Interior in good condition, although there is small amount of wear on drivers seat bolster. Engine is good runner, quiet and smooth. Not sure whether the turbo is losing some of its oomph, doesn't seem as quick as it used to be. Maybe that I'm used to my 330 beemer that I have replaced it with! Comes with a good second hand spare turbo from a phase 2 T4, which should give better low end response anyway. All brakes replaced in the last 18 months, stops really well, but brakes are quite firm, not sure if its supposed to be like this as ive not driven another T4, I have just got used to it. Passed MOT, but has a few advisories, slight play in near side front wheel bearing (cant be that bad as both front wheel bearings were replaced 12 months ago), slight corrosion of brake pipes and all four tyres wearing on inner edges (curse of lowered cars I guess) Also, ABS light has come on, pretty sure it is a wheel speed sensor as traction control warning light is also on. don't want any swaps or exchanges as need the room. Cheers Sean

Some (not sure if all) Vauxhall Omega front passenger seats fold completely flat. Not sure if this was so business types could use it as a table while in driving seat, or whether it was for getting really long loads in with the back seats folded down?
Look for Omega with a lever on the back rest (like on a seat from a two door that folds forward).
