Well, here's my latest, being re-commisioned after some years in slumber. Tech specs to follow but I assure you it is a bit naughty Poor colour choice but it is ripe for a re-paint, I think it was white originally. Has leather interior from an FD Victor which was apparently a bolt in job. I'm sure I'll have more to say after its upcoming MOT.... It's like an eBay barn find.... yes it was in a barn but everyone knew it was there, including the cars owner and the barns owner. Anyhoo, bit of air in the tyres, carbs unsticking, fresh fuel and a battery and away she went. Was ace to blow the cobwebs out. Minor niggles to sort before MOT, washer pump, horn and rear lamp lenses. The rest works fine including the overdrive. MY FIRST TAX EXEMPT MOTOR!!!!! ;D

I'll be keeping an eye on this one. Is a Ruddspeed head in the equation as part of your 'naughty' specification? Let us know if you're short of any bits, I have a fair parts hoard. -edit : I can see an alternator so you either have a 123GT B18B or some kind of B20 lump up front

Seems to be in good shape, I'm led to believe it is a Ruddspeed, alternator is a later conversion from something or another, overdrive, straight through pipe, tubular manifold, electronic ignition, limited slip diff, Healey 3000 front brakes..... it's been fettled.
Anyhoo, I've got to check over some more bits of it today, as far as I can see, it needs one rear light lens and I would like a set of door cards. The drivers window cable has snapped but I think it's only an end that popped off. Aside from that it seems solid and it really does sound healthy.

If you need any tech advice etc, the Volvo OC forum has a very active Amazon section, and I'm sure they would be very interested in your car & the upgrades. Also, all the factory workshop manuals, parts books etc can be downloaded from here

Momentus day people, MOT pass!!!! Woo hoo. 3 hours of welding, a sacrificial door from a Mk1 Golf and some brake tinkering although it was a bit touch and go at one point when it decided to not start. Anyway, as I wash the rust out of my ears, behold my dreadful (I was fed up, hot and tired) patching. Anyway...... watch this space.

Now "Rally Spec" Cibie Super Oscars donated by my (legendary) boss. Still work in progress. I'm still researching the Ruddspeed and various mods on it. Looking forward to having it on the road this weekend so I can start to iron out any niggles in its running.

Well, today I had some time on my hands (and a pot of paint). Enjoy. Basically, after giving it a bit of a tune up, I couldn't be bothered to fix the window mechanisms or weld the hole in the boot floor, I demanded fun and entertainment. Next step is to sort the wheel/tyre combo. If I paint the back wheels orange or something, that will make it drift spec won't it?

That dash looks uncracked ! Good project. Remember if you are looking for wheels Ford USA are the same stud pattern. Ruddspeed cars are like the holy grail of 120`s.
