Our benz still uses these fuses. In Holland they are called stone fuses. But these days these fuses are made of whibblepoo plastic!! And plastic has a tendency to melt... Aks me how i know..... Is there still a supplier or manufacturer out there that sells the porcelain ones? I cannot seem to find any. Thanks in advance!!

I suspect forums like this, and swap meets are where you may find porcelain fuses.
Maybe post in the Wanted section and see what pops up.

If you still have the porcelain body, you can just swap the fuse material over from the newer plastic ones.

These are the plastic ones grizz Of course they are advertised as CERAMIC in which case false representation and maybe one should report to EBay etc. Good luck regardless.

Venyard in Roosendaal is one where you can walk around yourself. Guess it's a bit of a trek for you, just for some fuses though! You can see online which cars are in the yard and what has been taken from them.

Volvo Amazons use these - have you tried any of the old Volvo parts suppliers? Here's what one of the UK suppliers list: www.classicvolvoparts.co.uk/parts.asp?carID=3&cID=47&scID=135&page=H_FuseboxHowever, I am sure that there would be plenty of suppliers local to you given how poplular they are in Holland. Wondering if the plastic ones that you have had bad experiences with were simply poor quality ones? Pretty sure that the ones in my Amazon are plastic rather than ceramic, and I have had no issues from that in 14 years of daily use, and nearly 100K miles, even when the fusebox started creating interesting electrical issues due to corrosion in the rivetted joints (fixed with a new fusebox). Also, in this application, they should be a thermosetting polymer (rather than a thermoforming polymer) so will not melt, just char or burn if subjected to extreme heat.

I've never had an issue with the plastic ones melting. Must have been running very close to maximum load for some time to do it. If you have some dead ceramic ones you may be able to swap the metal across from the plastic ones for reusing.

I've had issues with them deforming due to heat as well, they get shorter, which losses tension on the connections, which generates more heat
