Some neat cars, thanks for sharing, did you see this "incident" which seems to have caused a bunch of fuss, but I have not seen any detail on?

@akku ... interested to know what the "incident" was? Some guy in a later model BMW 540i tried to "send it" while leaving the show and hit some bystanders and a traffic light, before then attempting to drive off. The driver tried to blame a bottle of water going under the brake pedal for the crash but just ran out of talent, have seen many social media posts taking the mick out of him haha I believe the police caught up with the driver and are investigating. |

Weirdly lots of folks were talking on FB about it and when I say "what happened?" they say "don't want to say" but the British Car Museum has put out a statement saying "we are aware of the incident which has happened, it was on a public road not our grounds, we are fully investigating and will take appropriate action" which just makes me even more nosey.... That HC is a stunner. it caught my eye from those pics. Lovely |

Lovely Folks, whatever the cut of cloth, will try and protect their own, which is admirable, but ultimately, folks will form their opinions regardless. The BMM will remain impartial as they have to. I'm heading there today. It will be interesting to see how much damage is left over. I didn't realise that the driver tried to drive away adam73bgt. That is news to me. I did actually drive past this show, and saw the huge queue to get in, as I was on the way to Gilks cafe for the REVS Limiter meet. The M3 came out for its maiden voyage this year, completely adorning the barn find look, after being in a bare concrete floored garage for most of last year, bar taking it out around 5 times. |

I didn't realise that the driver tried to drive away adam73bgt. That is news to me. Yeah there's a video clip of it pausing after the crash then pulling away, doesn't get very far though as it was pretty damaged |

Was a good day out I left just before the incident “from the video I was slow leaving 😉”. The Q wasnt a problem on entry thanks to Waze You gota expect to Q for a big event👍🏼. Plenty of by standers encouraging those to perform on the way out. Marshall on the exit politely asked us to leave quietly and sensibly. Tbh I did expect to see some sort of police presence on leaving and encountered none. Thought the show was well organised and laid out. There museum is a cracking venue and hopefully car shows will still carry on there IN THE WISE WORDS OF RETRO RIDES …………………  |
