Engine looks good. New PS pump and alternator fitted although some bolt was missing on the pump which we are waiting for. The cover is due back too but not too much else to do other than some finishing/tidying. Mines ECU to be fitted as well. Also, these old glove box tricks are still there, not connected, but I'm kinda liking the retro glove box style

Just awaiting the new ECU, due tomorrow. Went in and looking good in the sun Also, I bought a nice leather a4 wallet thing, started storing all receipts and building a build history, fairly packed already. The intercooler was looking a little rough but it has been painted, looks much better, what a difference a little spray does Interior looking decent. The old Apexi gear in the glove box has been removed completely.

Rad fitted and more work done but the Fuel pump that was due to arrive has not. So, I'm away for a week to Norway and it should be ready roughly when I return. If the pump arrived it would have been on the road tomorrow Cover for the engine is due today as well which has been coated as per the other black bits Wipers were sanded back and painted, looks so much better. Its always the little things!

Sorry, few updates recently So, the car is "done" but issues with the fuel getting to the injectors. I'm heading away on holiday for a week but hopefully we're not far away We had hoped it would just work, but that never happens

My favorite skyline and colour. Looks like you have found yourself a wee gem mate. Marks a good guy he's looked after a few of my cars and my mates cars over the years. I used to use him when he was called ardvark autos and he had his Saab turbo that was a long time ago now though.

So, after 8 years of sitting still.... it drives! We took it out today around the block and it made it back, yay! Some work still to do though: Tracking really needs sorting Power steering not working On throttle it blew a boost hose One headlight not working Some tidying Door card to be fixed And plenty other small things But it moved! Surprisingly good ride, stiff but smooth. Also realised it has a Nismo cluster which is a bonus. A few pics from today:

Small update Went out in the Skyline today, so good Power steering pump replaced and PS now working New battery fitted Tracking all sorted out Door card fixed Hoses re-secured! However, the dump valve (s) are stuck open so these need to be removed and cleaned. The cam cover is due back from being powder coated and a load of other wee things. Interior needs a clean up, various screws to be put back on/covers etc. I keep saying "its getting there" but it really is

Best model Skyline. Great write up and just how I'd have it if I had one. Love it.
Do these have an LSD as standard?

Long time since an update but plenty going on, if not focussed. Various jobs done, but slowly in the background it has been road-tested and getting there. However, issues with the clutch set us back, the fluid pipework has been replaced as it leaked but also there was an issue with the clutch itself relating to a seal. That was done and sorted. It was almost, almost ready! Tomorrow was the planned final day but then we found oil in the coolant Engine was rebuilt, tested etc so from here my good mechanic chum Marc will likely be looking at other potential sources of the problem. Suspect maybe the Oil Cooler. Anyways, bit gutted, it was so close, but then again anything like this was going to bring its fair share of surprises
