there's quite a few of these out in Bali, what are your plans for it? at the moment just to get it roadworthy and built back up, its been on my "i must own that vw in my lifetime" list so its kinda been achieved, hoping to get it sorted for the spring time for showtime. got some good mates to help and the trekker forum is a wealth of knowledge so fingers crossed

picked up most of the bits today, pan and body are hopefully arriving saturday one rusty wing engine lid and front screen surround, seal in good condition but I'm missing the bottom of the screen good condition doors, little rust on the bottoms but overall I'm happy bonnet in good shape good condition windows, dusty but the plastic is really clear and they're sliders too ;D very impressed with the roof, looks original with only a patch at the bottom and a patch in the screen, well pleased rusty sills not a prob, brand new inner and outers, result !!! and my freebie 1300 engine, been sat in the corner of a garage extension so very dusty with cement all over it but hey its free thats it for now
