I've always wanted a nice e39. This one looks to be a very nice spec, and yes the split fold rear seats are rare! If they are like the e46 it was only a £250 option.
A family friend has had a early 520 since it was relatively new, it's been written off once, it's done over 250k (think he had the engine rebuilt as it was smokey). He loves it. He is one of those people who can't remember how many cars he has in storage or how many houses he owns 🤣

Always fancied one of these (in fact I went to look at one years ago but the dealer was good at taking a flattering picture), this is the exact spec I would have picked too. The colour is gorgeous.

I don't know much about them, but all Nilfisk presure washers use metal pumps (Karchers don't & the pumps melt). A friend bought the cheapest one they make and he's happy with it.
I am still using a 20 year old cheap'o powerdevil, had it running constant for hours with no issue (presure washing drives is quite relaxingg lol).

The tu3 suffers quite badly with heat soak on the carb when hot (can be a pita to hot start them), so it could be running a bit lean. Try pulling the choke out a little when it's hot to see if it makes it worse or better (worse it's too rich, better to lean) maybe better ways of doing it but that's what I used to do

Fantstic work on the truck! Holy heck that's some phenomenal panel fabrication! This might be the greatest comeback since Lazarus with all the work gone into saving it. Also 100% belongs on here (as does the astra!). Its what makes this place great. Bosozuku inspired k11 micra's, s13 silvias, 34 ford's, '28? ford's with landrover engines, noble M12' s, weird JDM show trucks/pao's/rasheens, covin 911's, real 911's, oil tanks, lada's, house busses, ratty golf's, pristine e-types, mx5-volvo mashups, its the variety and support of owners of all skill levels and budgets across the spectrum that keep this place being as excellent as it is. And the work on Lloyd is beyond excellent! Not something I'll likely ever own, but definitely something I can appreciate! Couldnt agree more. The diversity of cars, trucks, boats, houses, wheelbarrows, & people of Retro Rides is amazing. It's why I no longer visit any other forums, I don't know where else you could find such a eclectic mix of stuff.

Even 20 years ago it was a nightmare with a 100% standard one - more than once I ended up taking the part into the motorfactors to get the right part

In Spain, I bought bread that looked like a baguette, but after eating we discovered was "san sal" ìirc? Which means "no salt"! It was literally like having your taste buds turned off! It felt like bread in your mouth, but no taste whatsoever! We made bread in home economics at school, it was perfect - but teacher for reasons best know to her wouldnt let us put salt in - I'm still bitter about that 24 years on lol. Yes it's a waste of time with no salt, might as well eat an ice cube

I think a gloss version of what you built would look ace, I still think it needs yellow/pink window tints The painted headlight clusters look great

Two ideas. One bottom helicoil isn't quite flush and preventing it sealing. Two housing mating face is a bit rough and pitted. Going to refit the helicoil and sand the mating face smoother and try again. I was just going to say, that helicoil could be a bit proud and might need filing down

Did anyone see a video of a similar truck dragging a car down a road hitting loads of parked cars? Was last year I think. Sure it's the same truck

My guess would be brown is the earth & the other 2 are positives - one from the stalk & the other from a clever box that knows to sweep the rear screen when the front wipers are on & you select reverse.
