Another possible option for an actuator could be a seat motor, if you have a look on YouTube at "project binky" they use one to power a flip front on the mini. Ttfn Glenn

How about, rag it as standard, then chop the springs, next gut the interior finally if you feel it is worth the expense then start the spending. Years ago a magazine did a feature on cheapy track slags, one of which was a metro GTA which gained glory for passing a hot Scooby in the wet. Afaicr the only work done was service items, and possibly upgraded bushes Ttfn Glenn

Congratulations on the recovery and best wishes for it to continue. An idea for the flames might be to try a slower burning fuel, possibly a petrol diesel mix or paraffin or possibly a bit of home brew napalm. Ttfn Glenn

My bad, unless its a common rail, would suggest checking the stop solenoid, is it clicking when power applied, if ok try bleeding the system, has the filter got fuel getting to it? Are there any air leaks? Ttfn Glenn

Since it runs on easy start,.my guess, if its injection would be the fuel pump or relay if carb, fuel pump or blocked carb Ttfn Glenn
