	Hey guys, anyone following my carlton build thread will know I am fitting a 1UZFE V8 into my carlton with a manual gearbox. The flywheel is a modified 3SGTE (Toyota MR2 Turbo) unit, now the obvious choice is a 3SGTE pressure plate. Trouble is because its MR2 turbo unit its got the tuners tax on it and in addition some people have had issues with the release bearing being too small and not pushing the springs correctly. There are two cheaper options I have seen mentioned several times, Toyota Hilux and 4runner. The issue I have is which type as there seems to be different engine and year variants. Anyone got any insight? The gearbox I am using is an Omega V6 R25-28 5-speed with a concentric hydraulic slave cylinder. John.

	Was looking at dropping one into a scimitar a while back, got as far as having the car and doing some research. One source of info is lextreme. www.lextreme.com/forums/forumdisplay.php?s=1f1742bf680d640ba8edfbf2e5d3359c&f=18 Another source is the surf forum www.hiluxsurf.co.uk/forumdisplay.php?s=bb9ee4a4848077838f0c68639c4a18aa&f=57 Also found a guy fitting one to an Audi box using a one off manufactured flywheel and an Audi clutch, but unfortunately I cannot find a link at the moment, will try to find it as he had drawings with all dimensions Ttfn Glenn

	My Google powers have failed and I cannot find the Audi box fitment, but during my search I found a post where a landrover flywheel fitted www.mig-welding.co.uk/forum/threads/where-can-i-get-a-flywheel-made.50089/ Post near bottom of thread Ttfn Glenn

	3sgte flywheel , Camry v6 clutch and used mr2 fork and bearing with a plate using two of the bellhousing holes to mount the pivot . Extended the fork 3.5 inches to increase the leverage and keep a nice light clutch . Mini ext cylinder using the two starter bolt holes to mount the plate . Concentric cylinders suck wang if you have to deal with them during the day so I wanted it nice and easy on my own car

	I remember reading somewhere that a bmw m20 flywheel fitted.
