OBC were coming up with good info and quoting previous posts that mentioned members of the team being banned for abuse etc but now the thread has been locked and any posts containing names have been deleted. I don't think it's a problem that it's a closed forum as it's very easy to register but it's not good it's now locked... It doesn't reflect well on their sport it was locked to prevent abuse, like topics on here are. the admin took the choice to leave the thread in existance, and have asked if anyone who wants to help matey with bits to pm him

they're a heavy old bus,so actual weight behind it shouldnt be an issue unless your hauling a big heavy car trailer or twin axle caravan. altho from my 1 experience of driving an fx4, itl be a slow journey.

wasting your time pal, you need a bank loan to get anything from metro, you would be better of going buying whatever you want brand from the dealer, itd be cheaper.
60quid for a passenger side pajero window, no mech, just the window 40quid for a coil/amplifier of a 6n4 poolo
needless to say i went elsewhere.

same as triggers viewpoint, reality is sitting for 5 years will have caused damage, brakes overhaul, engine overhaul, not to mention any areas that have started to rust, bushes that have perished, fuel lines that have gone brittle.
id say 6-700quid is TOP money for a car in that state, harsh reality is its a "scrap" money car. you could easily, very easily spend 2k and get a realy good on the road model(in better than 1.6 povo spec) that doesnt need any messing around.

ive had a similar set but cant speak much for it to be honest, the body board died very early doors, anyone working on a driveway thats flagged or a unit with an uneven floor it just gets stuck, and as u have to lift urself up to get moved, itl bend in the middle! axle stands arent bad, mine don't have the triangle bottom and have withstood some excessive weights. the jack is poor, but has lasted longer than alot of the bargain ones ive tried in the past.

got my e36 coupe in the for sale section aswell, but thought id post up on here to see if anyones interested in doing a deal, doesnt have to be a straight swap, ive got abit of cash to add to a deal if needed. looking for something thats on classic insurance, and isnt a "scene" car, other than that I'm fairly open to offers, I do like abit of rwd, and something with a towbar would be very usefull. only getting rid of bmw because its a modern, and isnt worth the insurance premiums for the miles id do in it! *duuh forgot 2 add link retrorides.proboards.com/thread/155143/reg-bmw-coupe-bolton-1000

for sale I have the above, car is in good conditon, drives well, stops well, has a couple of age related marks but is overall very straight! has black leather interior, which is again in good conditon, drivers window mech needs attention as it will wind down (I have a spare),but needs assistance to go back up, rear spoiler needs re-jigging as previous owner cruedly attached it. other than that, realy straight car, ready to use. reason its going is I cant get a sensible insurance quote for me and the mrs.
will consider p/x or swaps.
