Okay, before I start this isn’t ebay gone wrong and my ‘problem’ is far, far removed from the awful situation that Pistonpopper is having to endure. In fact, quite the opposite. Two weeks ago I listed an electric ride-on children’s BMW Z4. Here’s the listing: www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Official-BMW-Z4-childrens-electric-ride-on-car-/400837608866?pt=UK_Toys_Games_Outdoor_Toys_Bikes_Ride_Ons_LE&hash=item5d53c885a2All went fine, a good amount of bids and quite a result in my opinion. The next morning I have a paypal payment for the whole amount from the winning bidder (who judging from their feedback is very sound). There’s no note though, so I drop him a line to say thanks and to let me know when he wants to come and get it. I then receive an email saying that the bid was in error and that they won’t be collecting as they have no need or want the item and to keep the money if I want. It’s not much more than £40 but my problem is I don’t know whether to keep this cash or refund it? Yes, my auction was messed up, I’ve incurred fees and am still tripping over the damn thing (the main reason for listing it), but I can’t say I feel entirely comfortable about keeping the money when the winning bidder has had nothing in return. What would you guys do? I’ve got it relisted again and was thinking of refunding the original buyer if it sells again.

I shall start with the essential basics that every father must pass to his son - the special words that encourage a sickly car to turn over and which must be solely reserved for such an occasion.

Where did they find it? Only interested as I live in Gloucester. Luckily, sounds like they were disturbed before torching it.

Bump with piccies. If they work... Cleaned up but not entirely convinced about the Pirelli being legal, I'm not expert so it could well be though. As you can see (hopefully), the three Kumhos are excellent and they're also marked M+S so should be good for winter.

Just to reiterate: I won't be binning this shell and this car will live again in some incarnation. There is plenty of strong metal still in it, the outer sills, boot floor, roof, majority of the bulkhead, transmission tunnel and doors. Even the scuttles (both front and rear) are nice and solid. There is a lot of good here and if it hadn't had the prang on the front corner it wouldn't even be a question of 'if' to do it, it'd be already done. Following up to my earlier post, I missed this one! Fair play, looking forward to seeing how it goes.

That's gutting. Sad to say and I've never been in that position to see where you're coming from, but I'd be tempted to let it go with that combination of rust and damage. Then again, I probably couldn't being myself to kill it so would invest in a large plastic sheet to cover it up and stick my head in the sand.

Got a feeling they will fit an early Disco, but the tyres don't look like proper mud pluggers. More your A40/M40 type!

Set of five factory five-spoke 16” alloy wheels and tyres for a P38 Range Rover.
Only just got these because they were there and thought I’d hoard them for a bit in the garage, until realising last night how much room they actually take up – they’re huge! Be a shame to punt them down the side of the shed so here they are up for sale with a mental note to self to only bother with car-sized wheel/tyres in future.
Wheels look to be in tidy condition for their age, although the spare looks a bit corroded. Will try and give them a wash down at the weekend.
Tyres are a combination of 3x Kumho with masses of tread (must be at least 6-7mm and retail at over £70 apiece) and 2 x Pirelli, one with about 3mm tread and the other on the spare pretty bald. Size is 235/70/16.
Think £60 is fair. Collection from Gloucester GL4 please.
Will get pics for anyone interested.

Will get a pic for anyone interested.
