Why did Triumph always seem to take the curse word left over bits of previous cars a shoe horn them into the new one. Those bumpers are shocking. That's a good observation - looks like a TR7 has reversed into an SD1 and the ride height must be early SUV. Not cool at all - but I guess it would be cool if it still existed (if it actually ever did. . . .)

Was thinking the same about the CF - twin lights really suit it though. Always thought that the CF was a much better looking van than the contemporary Transit. (We won't mention the Sherpa . . . . other than the fact it was available with a V8)

Renault 15 was a rare beast in this country even when current, certainly can't be many around now. Good pics

I've had a couple of these over the years: a 1966 Riley Kestrel and a 1966 Morris 1100. The Kestrel, with it's twin carbs, was quite nippy.
I know BL sold thousands of ADO16s (and I know I bought 2!) but quite honestly these days I fail to see the attraction of them - the gearboxes and in particular the vague gearchange are 'orrible, the suspension allows them to wallow all over the place, and boy, do they rust!
Actually, I might just pop off to ebay and see if I can find a local one . . . . .

A lowered Porsche engined Land Rover? Does this mean that somewhere out there is a Land Rover engined Porsche Gasser?

I can think of better ways to spend £50 but I have to admit to being generally sceptical about gizmos like these. Perhaps if I had a highly stressed high performance engine I'd think differently but for day to day use I'd just stick to a quality lubricant and regular oil/filter changes.

In view of its importance is it possible to put a link to this thread on the General Board - the General Board gets much more traffic than the Legal Board and I fear many will not see this thread unless its pointed out to them . . . . just a thought.

Have had a couple of these in the past (V4 1.7) one in Seafoam Blue, the other in Fern Green metallic. Will be watching your progress.

No the thread doesn't fit the M.O. - bit sometimes it seems that some of you guys sit waiting for someone to post OT just so you can jump on them. Go get a life guys (work on your cars or something) Nice Mondeo's though . . . . .

'Q' plate a stigma? Not any more - legally registered cars on 'Q' plates will now increase in value. . . . . . Quote from above: ' Time to sell up I think as the whole point was to have the car usable on the road not just at the track ' Buyers need to be very careful of what apparent 'bargains' come on the market in coming months . . . . .
