On a similar note, you know those mesh roller sun blinds? Like this... Very often here you see cars being driven with these across, and with tinted screens as well. Mind, I think I've said before that being able to actually see out of the vehicle doesn't seem to be a prerequisite for driving the thing.

No the thread doesn't fit the M.O. - bit sometimes it seems that some of you guys sit waiting for someone to post OT just so you can jump on them. Go get a life guys (work on your cars or something) Nice Mondeo's though . . . . .

My thoughts exactly - anyhow here is the Jowett Bradford Supercharged Special that was passing the Mondeo when it got pulled by the police on the M5

Wrong mondeos chaps it's a mk3: One of the best cars I've owned has been an '05 MkIII Mondeo 3.0 V6 Manual Estate on LPG. It's surprising the difference an engine can make to the car. From being workmanlike the chassis felt at home with that engine, and man it was creamy smooth. One of the best drives I had in that was getting from Warwick to St. David's in around 2.25 hours. What a blast. If was lovely to drive and didn't have that 'what will go wrong' feeling like a few of my cars afterwards. It lapped up the abuse well. I had it from 111k to 260k where a lady drove into the back of it. I'll be honest, I preferred it to my lacklustre E36 323i and possibly even my mate's E46 328i Touring.

Go get a life guys (work on your cars or something) Worked on my car most of today. So no idea what you are on about. Enjoying the Mondeo touring car content though. Who doesn't love a touring car?!

Me to be honest has I appear to be stuck in a time warp of pre 1970's designed motors but I don't mind being the odd one out - someone's got to love them!

Go get a life guys (work on your cars or something) Nice Mondeo's though . . . . . No they just want the forum not to be full of whinging curse word about not old cars. There are plenty of other forums for that, or facebook for those inclined. Or just sit in your own impotent rage at the injustices of the world, including the locking of this post. *apparently MO infractions will be met with Mondeos*
