lol, thanks 1straven, does it then need a stronger bracket once you change the actuator?
satin black it will be quite cool to see it once its done, it sort of helps with the oil leaks but the porblem with it is it seeems to collect alot of dust

i believe for driving round town and stuff, (what most people who stress on the rwd- fwd point do) there is nothing better then a fwd, where as if you enjoy alitle bit of twisties then rwd is your mate. infact driving around town i actualy don't mind a fwd or a rwd but on a track i realy do last time i drove the saab it was a nightmare!

hi, the 35w is more then enough, hid kits are legal up to 8000k which give the white light, anything higher and the old bill is on the case and every one driving past you will keep flashing lol. as for mot its a mot fail if you have hid on a car that did not come with hid from factory unless the headlights have washers and self adjusters or are projectors. since there is no cutting or taping of the loom involved these can be swapped over before the test hope that helpd my 200sx never came with hid's but just past with 10000k ones fitted. guess I was lucky I think that it depends with the lamp you are using if its the old style pattern like the one below you might be able to get away as you cant tell the difference between 8k and 10k, passed my volvo on 8k might have been the tester but i had a polo 8k with a set of crystal headlamps similar to the ones below where the the mot inspector told me to take them off and come back for a retest. asked him why and he said had to have them from factory or with washers and adjusters. i assume it probably does affect the beam pattern with the crystal headlamps i think projectors can get away with 12k because i have seen BMW's and Mercs with purple light no one says anything

volvo544special65 - yea i actually like the 740 front(lights mainly), i have changed the lights bumper, bonnet and scuttle panel which were donated by the 740, the wings are the factory 940 and the side lights are the ones from a face lift 740 that go around the wing now i need to make the light surrounds and add the egg crate grill colonelk- thanks for your compliment, only problem I'm having at moment is the garret T3 actuator doesn't seem to hold the boost even thou I'm running 1/2 bar as it picks up speed the pressure seems to drop, need to save up for a new aftermarket one BenzBoy - yea turbo power i don't think i ever want to go back to N/A thanks BenzBoy boy finally managed to get it back on the road i think it is what happens when you have another daily putting the car back on the road is not the priority lol

Sorry for the late update.. but this is what i was trying to get done by rr09 unfortunately i was not able to get it done in time, well slowly but surely i managed to get it back on the road and it runs sweet here are some pictures and i will do some talking Well the factory b200 was getting kind slow, instead of +T my engine i went with foggyjames advice "go for a low mileage lump". Mine had done 205k so had to find me a an alternate power plant say Hello to the donator a 740 2.3turbo had died of electronic failure Out comes the engine nice only done 117000 miles, barely run in ooo turbo.. mmm had an autobox scrap that lol going to mate it with the m47(yea my trusty one wheeled engine transport vehicle) time to get the 2l out no turbo no good its there now its not Striped the engine bay, sanded it down, masked it ready for a re-spray in satin black A coat of etch primer and a few of high build primer Seam sealed all the joints in the engine bay A few layers of satin black Oo the turbo feels right at home (i spy a turbo ) Time for some wiring here pretty straight forward with some remote help from foggyjames After the wiring was complete tried firing the engine cough cough splutter splutter no good.... reed the diagrams check for faults... nothing all good. After some help from my mate Mr Smith the conclusion came to timing.. Flywheel timing, ok take all the prop gearbox clutch off set the timing on the flywheel, fire up starts a bit rough idling. Close everything up start up again nothing no spark UGGRHH. Gave up and towed it to my mate’s yard he put it on the diagnostics equipment, PHAIL the flywheel timing was still out. Took the gearbox off again, (damn Volvo with their 8 variations on the fly wheel) finally got it running on the lh2.4 wiring with the factory 2l ecu and injectors brought it back home under it s own steam Been on the road for a month now running on a ecu from a Volvo 940 1993 and injectors form a 940 1997 Other mods carried out whilst doing the engine conversion Need to take pictures (I have a bad habit once working I get carried away sorry) Relocated the battery from right Redone the brake pipes Relocated windshield washer bottle to the rear of the car Striped the insulated carpets and insulation then installed light weight carpet Hid conversion kit List of things I still need to do Sort out the grill to match the 740 lights and bumper Make a gauge pod Install this. I know I can’t wait MUHAHAHA take it out and clean it mig'd blasted Cheers Gobs
