always wanted an XS, fair play for keeping it going Thanks buddy It is fun to try and keep it going. Problem i have is too many choices for things to do to the engine performance or even a change. So undecided. A guy at work was the one who mentioned fitting carbs, good thing is he's a slight petrol head also

Hi guys. Think I'm going to do a small project for this, with first off designing a intake manifold for a set of bike carbs I had completely forgot about that are sitting in my garage in a box.... I can make it at work, just need some guidance of the design for it, looks like I'll be doing some research. I got a different head with larger chambers that I will use as well Velly excite

Is that a new roof on the mx5 or am I seeing things? Yeah that sure is, your not seeing things haha. Its a hardtop, got it for a bargain. Only problem is that its painted in red oxide I got some plastidip to paint over it with, once the weather sorts itself out

Well guys, the saga was well a little delayed due to weather being too cold and I don't get on well with the cold (have bad circulation\raynauds) plus I have been enjoying the roadster and buying things, like wheels and a hardtop and strut brace+style bar, suspension blah blah. I got a damn lot of things for it lol. I decided against whipping the head off, as my dad suggested the clunk could be the oil pump chain not quite on right. Don't you love it when parents suggest the right thing Anyway I done a compression test the other day and the results where better than expected. All around 13 bar which is around 180 psi which seems quite healthy to me. Anyway I removed my front hubs today to send them away to a machine shop tomorrow, as the front hubs are ovalled Oh and I found this Here's how she's looking now sad time but not for too long And its got dirty sitting in the garage haha

Is your fuel pump fudged? Does it work when its wired straight to battery?
