hi guys I'm new here, just thought id show you guys my car and join in on the forum. please bear with me as I'm copying and pasting from another forum but this is an ongoing current rolling project. caution i have a fair few pics, but we all like pictures it started 29/06/2012 up until the current date the car i have owned for about 5 years now but 3 of them years its been sat off the road in various locations. i went up to wales to purchase the car for a tidy sum of £250 from a farm in what seemed like the middle of nowhere I have removed the engine, tidied the bay and repainted it. change the engine mounts for some BakerBM ones (great guy to deal with, highly recommended) Rebuilt the engine with no knowledge really of mechanics only lots of reading and question asking and lots of money haha heres what she looked like then purchased a special 4 2 1 manifold and system mmmmmmmmm shinys after a wash( hasn't been washed for a few years) in that time other than rebuilding the engine i also replaced the lower track control arms, brake discs and pads, new to me shocks and springs, wheel bearings, fully undersealed, replaced radiator, strut brace, k&n air filter. i used it like this for a few months until this fail in february beautiful oil colour so new parts bought and fitted, back to being happy again well this kind of brings me to the current date. oh yeah almost forgot new wheels and heres what she looks like along side my other toy still got a few plans for her, like all projects it never ends comments and criticism welcome (weather ill listen is another matter haha) jon

205, FANTASTIC little car. I've had 4 of them, mostly diesels and one 1.6 GTI. They're SOOOOOOO much fun to drive. They just put a huge smile on your face. Keep up the good work.

Here's a few photos from the detail on the 205. I'll do a proper write up if anyone is interested in all the steps it went through. Before. During. And finished.
