Bloody hell thanks chaps.
I'll digest all that later when I get more chance. I got £2k to spend and now the good lady is interested I'd like to get the best I can which may not be this one.
It will be a regular car for the wife and kids so the more toys the better.

After reading about all the Delica's on here I have got my Mrs interested in one as a funky daily. I found this one on ebay that I quite like the look of cgi.ebay.co.uk/1995-MITSUBISHI-DELICA-BLUE-/130461299915?pt=Automobiles_UK&hash=item1e601974cbA couple of questions though:- - What do you think its worth? - What should I look out for? - Where can I get a decent insurance quote from? I ran a search on the internet stuff and my Mrs is nearly 40 with 14 years NCB, I would be a named driver with a clean licence at 36. She is a housewife limited miles and the cheapest quote was over £500 We sold a 95 Airflow a few months ago cos the insurance seemed steep at £435. Any advice Cheers Mull

The sorn is valid for the owner for that car and is not transferable. Call the DVLA and apply for a logbook for the car, once you get it through the post the same day go online and declare it sorn.

Hope this works, pass this car occasionally on way home from work (depending on what site I am at) not sure if its a genuine Alpina (not good on BMW's). DVLA state its been off road since 1999.

If you get one I can recommend WMSS (West Midlands SAAB Specialists) by the Fort Dunlop Bimingham. Looked after my 95 til I had to sell it.

Neither, It's a Princess BL launched it as a brand in its own right with the princess 2. That said the log book states Austin Morris

Wow thanks for the response guys, didn't expect so much love for the wedge. I hope to have another one day but a 4 cylinder in decent condition with the twin headlights. (one Day).
Small world that it was formerly owned by Mr K Adams.
As for Jim by the NEC he was round my house last week to help me with this and give it a going over. He has one exactly the same (much tidier). To bloke who has about 10 still, think at his peak he had 20+.
Anyway it appears to have sold last night, I'm just awaiting a small deposit in the post this week and then it should be off to Scotland in a few weeks time to be put back on the road.
If anything changes I'll update as soon as.
Thanks again Karl

Model: Princess 2200 Year: 1979 Mileage: 65k Tax: None MOT: None Location: Birmingham (Near NEC) Price: £150 Additional Information: I acquired this car about a month ago to put back on the road but a change in commitments mean that in the past month I have had about 2 hours to put into it. It had been sat under cover for 2 years when I got it, it was covered in slime and full of spiders :-). I have since given the outside a clean and its not too bad more info below. The interior is great apart from a little fading on drivers door, everything appears to work too. If there are no takers it may end up on ebay soon as it completely fills my garage. Body :- Sills are fine, have been plated but are solid. Floors appear to be all original and very solid indeed, under the bonnet very solid. One wing has a dent (could be pulled out) where something dropped on it, the other wing is bubbly. It may be saveable not sure. The passenger rear door has a hole on the bottom and the underside of the front valance will need a plate. Interior :- Apart from the little fading and minor sag on the headlining is spot on everything appears to work. Running gear :- At the moment I haven't had it running. The battery is dead but with jump leads it will turn freely. I have put fresh petrol in and it is getting through. Next job was to clean the plugs up as they need it. Believe that the brake system was overhauled prior to laying up . One tyre has a leaky valve and struggles to hold air, I will try and get the spare on it if I can get it out of my garage. I think with a service it may pass an MOT as non of the body issues above are structural. Hopefully someone with a little time can put this old girl back on the road. Any Q's please ask. Cheers Karl

I love the 800 as long as they are not Champagne. When I worked at Rover in the 90's we had a few Vitesse's on the fleet. As an apprentice they were mental.
I'd love to get my hands ona coupe one day
