MOT: july 26th 2011

Price: £450
Additional Information:
OK its time to sell my chevette.
Not a massive amount to say really, I've had this a few years and its had very little use in the two and a half years I've had it. I took it to the gathering at gaydon a couple of years back, and thats the longest journey its done in my hands.
When I got it, it was a none runner. It had a new coil, carb rebuild, spark plugs, waterpump and probably a few other odds n ends.
I had a guy agree to buy this a few months back(the previous owner infact) he was very enthusiastic about the car, agreed a price, even left a deposit. At that I got it MOT'd. I did say there was no mad rush to collect as I'd be sorry to see it go, but we're now 3 months down the line and he now reckons "I won't get the cash this side of christmas" so its up for grabs again (with the other guys blessing not that it matters)
Good bits
Black gl interior
Mountney steering wheel(not pictured)
Black bullet mirrors
Recent new front anti-roll bar drop links
5.5j rostyles with 185 60 13 tyres. 2 of which are yokos with good tread.
Lowered on cut springs(possibly a bad point depending on your views but passed mot in it current guise)
Bad bits
No carpets
Has had welding to osf inner wing by myself, solid but poor quality also a bit under nsr boot floor.
couple of door bottoms a bit scabby.
archs a bit scabby nothing horrendously bad mind.
When I took it for MOT the temp gauge seems to run hot. Now this was never an issue before and its only been sat in the garage. It doesn't seem to actually over heat and I've had in running at standstill for quite a while, so I'm pretty confident its a dodgy sender. (possibly caused by my shoddy welding? but I'm pretty sure I had the battery disconnected?)
I'm looking for a hassle free sale here (isn't everyone!) You guys know the score this is a 29 yr old motor and it ain't mint. I feel my price is fair, Hope you agree, however I'm open to near offers
Apologies for picture quality.
Fire away with any questions.
Viewings welcome!
