blaupunkt acr3231 radio cassette player, A really nice retro stereo! very minimalist, so not many buttons or functions. It is in good condition, however there is one cosmetic defect on the top left near the blaupunkt logo. The radio works fine, as does every other function that I have been able to test, the tape deck will be tested tomorrow, now that I have located my old tapes. This would be a perfect OEM addition for any classic 80s or early 90s motor. 2x6.5 watt rms speaker outputs Tone control fm/am/lw radio tuner No code required fitting cage included Print out of user manual also supplied Collection welcome, try before you buy also welcome If posted, the unit will be sent via UPS, so is fully trackable. £30 posted £20 collected from chipping norton or oxford airport

vw 5x100 pcd fitment bbs solitude alloy wheels, set of 4 15" x 6.5j et43 57.1mm c/bore no tyres good condition, some minor marks consistent with the age of the wheels. no major curbing and no dents the backs of the wheels are a bit scruffy from years of brake dust build up, the paint has flaked a bit, but most of the brake dust has now been cleaned off. PLEASE NOTE: One wheel is a very slightly lighter shade of silver. This is not very noticeable once fitted though. The face had been scuffed and the paint I bought was a close match but not perfect. Collection preferred, but can ship them within the uk if needed. collection from chipping norton, oxon £80

correct. it probably doesnt help that a lot of people only use their mx5 in the summer months, so the battery can often go flat or get really drained, which is never good for a battery. be warned proper mx5 batteries are pricey! Seing as you are going to break the car up soonish, just get a regular lead acid battery. They are meant to have an agm/gel battery, but in your car it simply wont be worth the £100+ outlay, unless you plan to transfer it to the kit car.

9v at the battery is very low. have you tried charging the battery. It is in the boot on the mx5. sounds to me like your battery is probably pooped or really flat. i would have tried that before anything else tbh. charge it up, then put a multi meter across the terminals and watch to see how low the volts drop whilst cranking the car over. if the volts drop below 10v whilst cranking, then the battery has seen better days. if the car doesn't crank after fully charging the battery, go buy a new one!

Sadly clubpolo appears to be wise to such schemes, I can't even look at the classifieds. you can access the classifieds foc once you have registered as a forum user. you'll get your asking price on there for sure.

it certainly didnt disappoint from what i saw on the telly. still got race 3 to watch, but the 1st two races were cracking. Can't wait to go a watch it live again and take some more snaps! my only grips is that there are so few places at the tracks to be able to get some clean pics without being obscurred by the safety fence or the back of someones head!!

bit of a crazy idea, but i'd try wiping the bare metal over with something like danish oil (it is meant for bare wood, but having accidentally got some on our kitchen sink at home whilst doing our worktops, i can confirm it sticks to metal, like poo to a blanket!) it isnt totally clear, but if you coat it thin enough, it should appear fairly clear. it leaves a thin waxy skin, that water won't get through. thinners is about the only thing i've found to remove it. it would be a fairly cheap way of protecting the bare metal. www.ebay.co.uk/sch/i.html?_from=R40&_trksid=p2047675.m570.l2736&_nkw=danish+oil

celly all day long. both my old cars were painted in celly from the factory and both are still presentable. most people don't believe the paint on my polo is 21 years old it is that good. A lot of it is in the looking after though. my polo has been waxed on a regular basis from the day it was built. my mx5 is still in good nick too. neglect it though and it will fade. it can also scratch and chip easier than 2k paint, but at least it won't kill you as quick as 2k used without correct ppe
