Well got this a few months ago little project always fancyed one , sold my mk1 Golf and Mk2 Golf van The car had lots spend on it over the years got a folder full well got it with a curse word Gearbox well a few months later 2 Gearboxs it Mot yesterday :thumbup: here are a few pics       |

I had a LHD one once, black, Early....
Very cool cars...
Philj on here and clubpolo knows his stuff with em..
Hes got or had one that was a PROPER ROCKET!!! realy quick!

Looks smart, nice to see another G40 locally! I was wondering if I'd recognise the reg, but it's not one I've seen around. Looks really tidy though, what's it had done to it? I can see a Jabba induction kit and some silicone boost hoses under the bonnet  Worth getting a new inline fuel pump if it hasn't already had one, and a charger service too. Cool cars though, I can't wait to get mine back out. |

I use to love my G40 - toothed belts - full blend - jabbasport induction kit - recirc removed - 250cc injectors - GT inlet manifold & de wedged. Went like stink - for all of 5 minutes!
New distributor - then new Lambda - and then valve stem oil seals went. its now onto its 5th owner since I sold it!
