Toe in the water time again.....have kept my old bready since last summer on sorn with good intentions of getting it back on the road....but just working too hard...so...
It's an 87 proper non facelift breadvan 1043 but the "high power" 45 bhp version! Ha ha....4 speed box
Was white but hand painted in camo which has kept the rot out over the winter but could be done better......pretty solid with a few patch repairs but for nearly 30 I've seen worse.
Has had a new clutch cable but needs handbrake cable replaced (supplied with but not fitted)
Bought a top hose for it from eBay but it's about an inch too short....lol...a bit of exhaust and some pipe clips would rectify this.
There's a rust hole in boot but I doubt it's mot fail....its a ratty car and priced that way!!
With an mot it would be 400 plus but I'm selling it due to no time to even tinker with it
I'm asking 150 quid firm...which is peanuts for a cool intro car to the vw scene....The price of some chrome parts for an air cooled! Ha ha
I have access to a 1.6 aee code skoda felicia lump which was planned to be the engine to go in it when it was mot'd and brakes done.....This would be for sale separately. ..its the largest "small block" engine that will fit without major mods
