time to sell my chevette as seen in retro cars and some of you may have seen her on ebay ( too many time wasters on there)
any ways I'm open to offers and or PX for something that takes my fancy (4x4 mx5 or something interesting )
spec as follows :-
Standard read end (rebuilt and painted) spare diff can be chucked in as well along with gearbox spare cassette and spare clutch
Custom exhaust front to rear heat wrapped front section with zx10r rear box (remus powercone) Note picture shows old backbox no longer fitted
Modified carb (throttle operated secondaries)
Leading spark mod to use twin pole coil pack (waisted spark)
Custom built cable to hydraulic clutch converter
Headlights modified to take standard h4 halogen bulbs
Volvo 240 4pot front calipers and Carlton discs (popular upgrade)
Bare metal re-spray spare paint can be supplied for any touch ups
Genuine low mileage shell very solid any rot was cut out sand blasted and repaired with new sheet metal (no patch ups)
15inch BMW BBS wheels With all New Tyre's
Mitsubishi Sapporo front seats (have Subaru impreza rears that I haven't yet fitted) original rear seat
Sony stereo with kef rear speakers and mixed make fronts in custom kick panels and alpine amp
Retro rev counter installed in the old speaker location (dash center) oil pressure gauge installed in cluster (clock removed) all other original dials remain and working
Clifford concept 300 installed with remote central locking and optional microwave sensor
Mega cheap insurance and tax costs me only £250 a year to insure on a classic policy
just mot'd flew through with no advisories at all local center said it was the cleanest example they have seen in 15 years
Please excuse the mud but this was taken in winter and I have a long mud driveway that just loves to spread itself over the car no matter what speed your doing
so the important but I'm looking for offers around £3500 but I am open to sensible offers, I'm not going to let it go for silly money but hey try me...
