Hello, i have for sale a big portable fume extractor, that was used while welding three different cars. Handy if you're welding inside a small garage/unit and you don't want the door open. Cost roughly £1800 new and small versions of this unit secondhand are up between £600 and £900 on ebay, so grab yourself a bargain Has two speed settings and a warning light for when the filter needs changing. Also the funnel has a magnetic base for sticking onto panels. The foil fume hose will need changing as it's got holes in it, but they can be bought from ebay at ease. Cash on collection only due to the size and weight of it. £450 ONO Reditch, Worcestershire B98

Hello, i believe these to be 4" pcd as they was fitted to my old vauxhall viva, but i cannot guarentee. The two wheels with the less spokes are fairly wide boys! Been in my shed years. £40 Collection Redditch, Worcestershire

I spent a long time trying to get hold of one and i was just lucky enough to get one, so i think you maybe better off pulling your switch apart (being very careful not to lose the bits) and clean the contacts and build them up with solder if they're heavily worn. I've had to do this myself on another ignition switch which completely stopped working due to the contacts being worn.

@waxoyling Lyrical I have seen similar wheels fitted to the Estelles, but the wheel nut holes are different to mine.
They was fitted to a fiesta mk2, so most likely ford fitting. I've updated my post with some pictures.
I did check the link you provided thank you, and from the little information i've found.. i think they was an aftermarket wheel, that could be bought in the 80's and they was popular to be fitted to mini's from what i read, but in the 12" sizing.

Hello, i have buried in my container, 5x KN Meteor alloy wheels and i was wondering what sort of money would they be worth? They're made in the UK and i think they're about 30 - 40 years old. It's hard to find any information on them, except one old ebay advert with someone saying they're "very rare". They're 13" and i've checked the reg engraved in each wheel and it turns out they was fitted to a fiesta and if memory serves me correct, it was a supersport any help would be appreciated, before i pull them out in a few weeks and stick them up for sale. Thanks

Hello,
I have a 3.5 v8 full rebuild skimmed block and heads. So my question is, how do you set up the preload and adjustable pushrods? As I've tried following information online and my preload is set to 40 though, but near the back of the right cylinder bank, there's a tapping i cannot get rid of. All parts are new.
Thanks

Hello,
i was reading up on the Gov site about Radically Altered Vehicles and i understand about the points based system, but what i do not understand or what i couldn't find was.. If your car was Radically Altered (Body/ Engine/steering/gearbox) 30+ years ago and the engine was registered on the logbook 30+ years ago, would said car be affected by the points based system or fall foul of the Radically Altered Vehicles section now? As i can't seem to find any information on this, and when it comes to taxing the vehicle, it asks if it's been substantionally changed within the last 30 years.
Any help will be appreciated, as i have two vehicles that had the shells altered /engine changed/ gearbox and steering changed 30+ years ago, with both cars having the engines registered on the logbooks 30+ years ago.
Thanks

Hello,
if i switch my ignition on (with the engine off), my oil pressure gauge goes upto 20Lb and stays there until the engine is started and then it will go upto about 50LB. While the engine is idling, if i rev the engine the needle will move upto 65Lb and drop back down to 50Lb when idling again. So the oil gauge is responding, but it's an incorrect reading on the gauge. It's never always done this, it started happening 3 weeks ago. I replaced the sender on the engine block, which made no difference.. so i can only imagine it's the gauge? would that be the place to look?
I ran a fresh Sender wire from the gauge to the sender and that made no difference either.
Any help will be much appreciated, as new oil gauges cost a £80+ if you can find them.
Thanks James

Hello,
i've recently purchased a car and it's had an engine swap at some point in it's life, so i was wondering how can i find out, when the logbook had been changed to show a different engine size? I've paid for two online vehicle checks, which didn't give me what i was looking for.
As i've read on the Gov site, that a vehicle will only be MOT exempt if it hasn't had any substantial changes in the past 30 years, which i presume the DVLA would know, because they would've altered the logbook for one of the previous owners.
Thanks
