I have plumbed all of my fuel system in teflon lined braided hose, and I have now noticed the breather pipe from the tank, is starting to decompose. Where can I get real E10/Ehtanol proof 1/2" or at a push 13mm rubber hose??

Beingits a non crossflow head, heat soak could quite easily be an issue, I would suggest you also check the route of fuel line, it could be running too close to the exhaust

Put my BIG BRAVE Underpants on today, ![:)](//storage.proboards.com/forum/images/smiley/smiley.png) and went out on the car working on the fuel lines where I bu-ggered up my back, I was under instruction not to come back in the house if I hurt it again..... So Far So good......... clipped the lines in position and now had the quandary of where to put the fuel pump or pumps, depending on what way I plumb it, I'm not a lover of fuel pumps in the boot, But I had bought a small integral pump and swirlpot that would do the job , except it would have to go inside the car and also be quite obstructive if I needed to put anything in the boot other than a pair of socks. I ran my Cortina without a swirl pot and that had around 330hp, so I have plumbed the Toledo similarly, also much like how Mr Shoey has too, except I have turned it transversely and tucked it up close behind the axle to try and protect it a bit.

I'm looking for a decent quality alloy trolley jack, low entry would be good, but not essential, a good lift height would be lovely too

what size are the centre caps ? They are 62/ 63mm, not hard to find the correct centres, but the dolomite has a sticky out hub nut in the middle and fouls most caps

Needs a bit of Jiggling with the ride height, IE screwing the coil overs down a smidge, and perhaps 5mm off the rear of the front wheels, and, I like these. ![:)](//storage.proboards.com/forum/images/smiley/smiley.png) Keeping them, Find a decent set of centre caps, Compomotive in their wisdom seem to have made different size caps for most style of wheels they ever made ![:(](//storage.proboards.com/forum/images/smiley/sad.png) Wanted to slap the youff in the tyre shop he WOULD NOT fit the tires..... because they were 195s and 175s on the same size wheel, had to wait for the boss to come back.. the rear looks a bit of a odd fitment, but thats just a trick of the camera and bad lighting

Just noticed Alfa have introduced a new Hybrid SUV, and named it The TONALE, sorry thats just a bit too TONAIL for me....... they are not the first to do this Chevrolet introduce the Nova, which never sold well in Spanish speaking countries, NOVA translates in Spanish to NO-GO Any more well car names out there with that clash with the local language

mx5 is 4x100 nothing there you could use? There's lots, I'm just picky! ![:D](//storage.proboards.com/forum/images/smiley/grin.png) think Alfa, 98pcd, might get away with wobble nuts

glad the wheels worked out they have been on facebook for about 8 months at least as i kept going back and forth looking at them 👍 they looked in good condition to condition wise they looks OKish, they will need stripping and probably re-painting, so they are not too "Blingy" if they were splits I would have polished them,

Its been a long time, I have been laid up with a trapped nerve in my lower back when working on the car, which has led to me being bed bound for 8 weeks and TBH getting very despondent about the car, back is feeling a bit better now, meaning can walk more than 50 feet, Enough of my maladies, I have been giving some serious thought about those ATS cups, and the minimal gain I get for a lot of aggro 10mm of more rubber on the back, AND, I'm not overly keen on how the fronts look either, so, for weeks I have trawled FB and EBay for some triumph wheels that I actually like and would suit the car, and be in period. I can assure you theres not many for sale... Up popped a set of wheels on FB, totally misrepresented and saying 100pcd, but fit Triumph which is 95.25, with the other imortal words, "I'm selling these for an Elderly Friend" all the alarm bells started ringing, but I kept going back and looking again and again, I eventually messaged the woman... and was told they were, got his number and address, gave him a call, and arranged to go and see these, its a long drive Hastings to Cheltenham on a whim. and I came back with these....... a Set of 5 TF compomotives, 6" wide and what I was told 13s, turned out to be 15s not in bad nick for the Princely sum of £100 beer vouchers........ ![:)](//storage.proboards.com/forum/images/smiley/smiley.png) RESULT, and the offset suits the triumph, and the right PCD, 15s suit my need as I already have the tires.... ![:)](//storage.proboards.com/forum/images/smiley/smiley.png)

I have just gone up to a 150a MEGA fuse, only because I tried starting the car in gear (By Accident) and took out the 100a I had in a nanosecond 150a seems to survive a quick start in gear. I do now carry spares........

Got to say that plumbing from the water pump and heater in RWD is a hellish job to get looking right, nice solution

Welcome, Nice to see there's new blood in the NSRA, Been into rodding a long time but eventually dropped out, but still play cars, I was brought up in a time when it seemed there was somebody building a car in SE London on nearly every corner, and good luck with your quest of keeping it alive, when its now considered "AntiSocial" by Government, media and the general public to buck the conformation belly button cars.

Before Igot to the bottom of this post, I knew the shot blasting would dull the wheels down nicely I did similar to my sons Mk1 escort when I had acquired some ratty minilite copies that fitted just right, I had the wheels blasted and matt clear powder coated, they ended up looking like early early magnesium wheels too, ![:)](//storage.proboards.com/forum/images/smiley/smiley.png)

CRIMP ON TERMINALS, my kin nemesis I had to strip all of my dash in the triumph and removed over 50 crimps and scotch locs for exactly the reasons you have done so, they are unreliable..... sounds strange, but IMHO LUCAR/LUCAS type terminals are far more reliable than 99% if the awful plastic covered terminals, The Prince Darkness has a reliable system, despite all the knockers in the world
