I saw a small scale version in L.A. Cool car park by route9autos.co.uk, on Flickr I'm pretty sure it was valet parking and you left your keys with the attendant incase the car parked above yours needed out before you were back.

What exactly are the wheels in the op? love all the ones in violets post. Fuchs make me feel all squishy inside. The wheels are called Randars. Dave

I like it. I would as I'm a type 3 fan but for me I would prefer a smaller wheel and larger profile tyre but thats just me.
I also struggle to "get" the narrowed beam look.
I would love to get a set of rear pop-out's for mine.

When I was using my type3 daily and my beetle before that I worked on the principal that if you keep the chrome (hubcaps, bumpers, lights) clean the car looks a lot cleaner.
Now with the audi its the wheels. Keep them clean and the whole car looks clean with minimal effort.
Dave.

With all the cars that pack in over winter you could keep yourself busy recovering them and making good money with this truck.

The most common guess for my VW Type 3 (see sig) is that it is some kind of Saab.

I have been sitting on this a bit as I'm in the process of setting up another business but I just MOT'd it so it has 12 months MOT and tax until Feb 2011.
I used it for a job on Sunday and everything is working great.
Your chance to grab a great truck and a great way of earning a living.

I have decided that with 3 vans and a recovery truck this wee trailer isnt really needed any more. I have owned it about 8 years and I re-built it around 5 years ago in marine ply. 10inch mini wheels and tyres with a spare thrown in. Towed it happily with my VW Beetle/Type 3 and camper. Big enough to carry 3 VW aircooled engines. ![](http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v335/BTJustice/parts%20fs/IMG00052-20101012-1131.jpg) ![](http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v335/BTJustice/parts%20fs/IMG00053-20101012-1131.jpg) ![](http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v335/BTJustice/parts%20fs/IMG00055-20101012-1132.jpg) ![](http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v335/BTJustice/parts%20fs/IMG00054-20101012-1132.jpg) Needs lights re-wired. Perfect for keeping dirt and oil out of your upholstery. £100ono Dave

A few years ago there was a team of girls who competed in Scrap heap challenge Scrappy races who plonked a diesel engine in a 1303 beetle.
Wasnt exactly a sleeper however.
