Hello! It's been a while since I posted on this forum! I have for sale a very rare Toyota Yaris T-Sport TS 1.5 in Red Y Reg First things first, I realise the pictures have the plate covered, I did this for my Ebay ad, I can assure you it's one of the early TS' (Y Reg) MOT September 10th 2017 Currently on under 106,000 Miles Full V5 Document Present 2 Sets of Keys Interior is in good condition overall Completely standard car to my knowledge which has had a lot of recent work carried out (from wear and tear) with receipts to prove: 6/09/16 New Front Discs and Pads 6/09/16 New Rear Discs and Pads (including New Caliper) 6/09/16 New Offside Rear Shock Absorber 6/09/16 New Front Anti Roll Bar Link 6/09/16 New Front Wiper Blades 6/09/16 Headlight Align and Refurbish 8/09/15 New Catalyst Converter 8/09/15 New Middle and Rear Sections of Exhaust 13/07/15 New Battery 29/04/15 4 X Matching Tyre's including Wheel Align It also has Full Service History up until 36,000 Miles in Toyota Yaris Folder Points to Note: As can be seen in the pictures it does have large areas of Lacquer peel. it started off as just small areas but has now spread. The Red colour is still bright red and there is no rust on the body work. A few barely noticeable scratches which have been buffed out. Small areas of pitting/bubbling on the alloys. The Exhaust (whist completely replaced just over a year ago) I think does blow slightly. It's only really noticeable in higher gears under load (i.e accelerating from 30 mph in 4th etc.) and started the first day after it was replaced, I think one of the joins is not 100% flush (but has since passed an MOT like this)! The Brakes (whilst again replaced recently, less than 6 months ago) squeal occasionally but brake fantastic! The front two Tyre's will both require replacing ASAP. Only one was an advisory on the last MOT but I think they are both now pretty close (the rear two still have decent tread left!) It probably does need an Oil change soon, It holds it's oil and water and only very occasionally needs topping up, however is probably due. Advisory on the last MOT was the Tyre as listed above / Corroded rear fuel pipe / and..........slightly strange....Tow ball/hitch not fitted at time of test! You may be able to see in the pictures it does indeed have a Tow bar which I have never used in my approx 20k miles of use, so I decided on day one to remove the Tow ball (is in the boot) as i'm not sure what or why you would want to Tow anything in a Yaris, but is there if desired! Some general rust on the underside of the car. I can honestly say this car has never let me down and having recently driven it over 1000 miles in 2 days it was very comfortable, economical and sporty when required. Having said all this the car is sold as seen with no refunds, however I do believe I have explained it as best to my ability. Worth noting the car has been standing for a few months (occasionally turned over) and have since bought a new battery for it! As you can probably tell I took some of that from my Ebay listing! Any questions feel free to ask! Cheers!

Right then! Where to start, I have a Skoda Fabia 1.4 Mpi for sale (131,000 miles on the clock), please note it is a non runner and will need to be on a recovery truck or trailer (towing would be a bad idea!)
It has :
MOT until June 30th 2013 NO TAX (SORNED) FULL V5 2 Keys A little bit of service history over the past few years.
Now the "spares or repairs bit" it broke down a few weeks ago and has been diagnosed as a C.V/gearbox fault (I think they said a c.v joint but don't quote me on that!)
Before this it did run ok (started first time) but did have a vibration which may have been the problem above or may be something else.
At idle there was slight smell in the cabin oily/fuely but I put this down to a slightly lumpy idle, although this would be up to you to investigate further!
Sills......One sill seems fine, the other has been badly filled (about the size of a tennis ball and will need fixing before the MOT! Rust around the same arch (with one bit the size of a tennis ball also!) Missing a few pieces of trim!
Exhaust at the tail pipe right at the end has a hole the size of a 2p!
Brakes seem a bit low but tyres in a better condition, brand new spare in the boot!
Has Air con (but don't think it works) but bizarley NO central locking/alarm/ or electric windows! (and also NO stereo)
Other than that it is in ok to good condition, a few small scratches/dents, runs fair otherwise! Does still give decent MPG and has a trip computer, nice condition inside.
I have tried to be as honest as possible although I have not checked over the car fully (I.e on ramps etc) so couldn't give you a definate opinion hence sold as seen/spares or repairs! It doesn't run due to the fault listed above but is viewable and can be started! As you can see iv'e mostly put the bad things but I prefer to list things in a negative light so that it's not dissapointing!
Any questions or for pictures give me a pm, cheers!

Quick question, following on from yesterdays thread, When my car runs out of MOT can I leave the tax/insurance on it (it will be OFF the public highway btw, I.e not in use!!)
Basically in a nut shell the car will be off the road whilst I decide what to do with it (am on the look out for another car whilst Id use *sigh* public transport) and I was wondering do I have to SORN it (tax will run out few weeks after it goes off the road) and also the insurance situation, can I leave it on the car untill I get another car then transfer it over with the new details as I'm happy with company I'm with in that regards (and from getting quotes!)??
I know the law in regards to the SORN policy but I'm struggling to find info on the legalities of the off the road MOT failure but with tax and insurance still on?!
Thank you in advance!

Quick question, I'm 99% sure I know the answer but just for that extra peace of mind....
If your MOT (hyperthetically) runs out on the 1/5/2013 can you still drive it on that day up untill midnight?
Thankyou in advance!

-1995 VW Vento 1.9D -M872 WUG -Indian Red -91,126 miles -6 months tax from day of purchase -8 months test (13th oct 2013) -Covered just 996 miles since test -Cheap insurance (group eight) -Lowered 40mm on Shocks and springs. Coilovers have been removed for new vento. -15" Wolfrace Voodoo alloys -Complete black trim swap including all carpets and dash. Originally beige. -Full upgrade to tdi brakes -VR6 cloth seats -Thule roof bars -Sony Xplod head unit -GL rear lights -Smoked headlights with Phillips X-treme vision bulbs -Immobiliser -Fully UK road and MOT legal pressed metal number plates -Wolfsburg plate surrounds Bad bits: Before you read please note that I have been brutally honest and possibly exaggerated with everything below. Please refer to the pictures for reference on bodywork issues. They were taken shortly after MOT, so around 900 miles ago, and the car is still in pretty much the same state now. I only wish to highlight every little detail for a potential buyer as nobody likes buying a "mint" car only to find all this out further down the line. -Bottom of drivers front arch very rusty. Non structural but ugly. Also bubbled and slightly rusty in other places on same arch. A gti arch kit would cover evertything. -Small dent to pass. side rear arch. No damage to paint. Again, would be covered by gti arch kit. -Could do with a proper polish to bring the paintwork back to its best. -Boot lid slightly mis-aligned -Slight leak from exhaust manifold/downpipe connection. Never looked into it but car has had a fairly recent new catalytic converter so may not have been bolted up correctly. -Immobiliser occasionaly fails to disengage. I intended to have it taken out but never got round to it. -Wing mirrors are electric though not connected. I would suggest buying manual mirrors and swapping back plates over. Thanks for the reply but I wasn't really looking for something modified and your a little bit far away for me (live on the otherside of the North Wales Coast myself so even Chester is a bit of a trek!) Thanks anyway

Hello all!
I'm currently on the look out for a half decent car located in the North Wales area/Chester?
I'm looking for something with some MOT (at least 6 months + ideally) and some TAX.
Something reliable and in half decent condition (i.e no resto projects unless very minor items that don't affect the running)
Budget is around £250-650 but that would really depend on the car/things I have stated above.
It must have a Full V5 also, no Cat D's, grey imports ect.
Any ideas?
Currently on the look out elsewhere too (a bit obvious that statement) so I may find something elsewhere tommorrow! But if you have anything like that for sale pop up a comment, even if it's not for me at least you'll have some ad space for the people in the area (quite alot of us on here apprently)
Cheers folks!

Can't believe youv'e had this for a month on here! Seems like a nice little (but big) estate that. 1.4 too! What kind of car are you after out of interest? big/small mot/no mot ect deeeesel/petrol? ect To be honest I would swap for anything with the same or more amount of MOT that I stand a better chance of passing on - I don't realy want to risk e-bay. Ahh right! I don't blame you to be honest, its a bit hit or miss wether or not someone pays with the bay! It seems a very good car for the price tho, GLWTS

Indeed, If you notice too alot of us put "North Wales" instead of county/town.... having said that it is North Wales where pretty much any town name results in a ![:-[](//storage.proboards.com/forum/images/smiley/embarrassed.png) reaction.....but yes, its not a bad old place.....overall... ![:D](//storage.proboards.com/forum/images/smiley/grin.png) I live in Llanfairpwllgwyngyllgogerychwyrndrobwllllantysiliogogogoch (this P100 is based in Bangor at my Granddads place) so North Wales or Anglesey is usually easier to say! Ah yes! That old chesnut of a town! Bangor is hip anyhoo, University......a big bridge....it has it all does that city! I spend most of my time up the Clwyd end, or what used to be known as Clwyd, I'm not sure how they work their county systems nowadays!

madaboutrallying, I've had a word with him and unfortunately my Granddad isn't willing to go down to £500 sorry. broomaround, seems like there's more guys from North Wales on RR than I realised! And yeah, when my Granddad bought the P100 he was amazed at how tidy it was for a pick-up. I don't think it's had a tough life at all!
