Quick question, following on from yesterdays thread, When my car runs out of MOT can I leave the tax/insurance on it (it will be OFF the public highway btw, I.e not in use!!)
Basically in a nut shell the car will be off the road whilst I decide what to do with it (am on the look out for another car whilst Id use *sigh* public transport) and I was wondering do I have to SORN it (tax will run out few weeks after it goes off the road) and also the insurance situation, can I leave it on the car untill I get another car then transfer it over with the new details as I'm happy with company I'm with in that regards (and from getting quotes!)??
I know the law in regards to the SORN policy but I'm struggling to find info on the legalities of the off the road MOT failure but with tax and insurance still on?!
Thank you in advance!
