Cracking write up, I feel like buying something far, far away that I don't need, just so I can go and pick it up!
<off to ebay.com to spend tonights lottery winnings then go pick it up>

How much would you be after for them mate, and have they got tyres on 'em? I'll have to double check that 14" would clear either my drums or calipers.
Cheers, Martin

Righteo, I need to clear some room in my garage as I'm planning on starting work on my Chevy in 2012 and there's just too much stuff that I don't really need and it's all in the way! 15x8 wheels from my Chevy Blazer - set of 5 (although one is slightly different, that was the spare - the triangular holed one!). £1 per diametric inch, so £75 for all five! 14" (IIRC) Rover wheeltrims, from my sisters' Rover 25 - £15 for the set 14" Space saver from the Rover 25, doesn't appear to have ever been used! - £15 W126 'Facelift' Chrome Bumper Trim: Centre rear section, no external rust, but a couple of very tiny bubbles are just starting to appear (been waxoyled from the back now) - £20 2 rear bumper side pieces (one each side!) - excellent condition, only slight surface corrosion on the inside - £35 each or £60 the pair 1 brand new rear bumper side piece, (drivers side IIRC, will double check) - £50 Various interior wood trim pieces from my 1989 W126 420SEL - £25 for the lot (all dashboard and slightly crazed gear lever surround) W126 headlights £10 each W201 190e headlights £10 each More will be added (along with photos of the Merc bits!) as I get through it all, so keep checking back!

Anyone got any old manky (read as cheap!) wheels that'll fit my Chevy Blazer? It's 6x139.7mm (6x5.5") which is shared across most J 4x4s.
Just required for rolling it round the garage, as it's old tyres currently adorn my Discovery!
Cheers, Martin

Still after some if anyone's got 'owt. Failing that, it'll be a case of putting the stands on a railway sleeper or two! ;D

Ok, reality says I don't really need this car. Now taxed until end of May, would consider swap/px for something American, something interesting, or a motorbike.
Whatcha got people?

Do you know if the heated seat elements work in the LS400 front seats, and what year car they are out of?

When it gets too icy/snowy for me to use my bikes (Kawasaki GT550 or Suzuki GSXR750) I use my pushbike (13 odd miles to work). It ain't worth pushing your luck, falling off a pushbike generally hurts and costs less

My 420SEL (with LPG kit) weighed 1820Kg if that helps - verified by a weighbridge (when I towed a Vectra to be scrapped... ;D )

Being picky, isn't it an Opel Vectra, seeing as it's LHD? ;D
I do miss my old 2.0 CDi - best £72 I ever spent.
