I believe the MGB axle has been used under the Standard 8/10
It's the right width iirc

I've come across advisories for "general corrosion to underbody" a few times recently. According to a tester I know, the period that a tester is liable for not spotting any serious corrosion has been extended, so I guess this is a way of covering themselves. The cars I've looked at with this advisory have all been good underneath, just the usual 20-year-old car underside. I see this a lot, I hate it when they put it as anyone not clued up looking at the mot history thinks somethings amiss

does the method of attachment (welds...bolts..cable ties..blutak) decide if its a "seperate" chassis or not? Yeah, plus in most cases it will be a full monocoque front end with the rails welded to it (if that makes sense) Cabstar or early Iveco is the way forward for this type of thing, or heavily cut down a TK cab onto summit like a p4 chassis, could be interesting

Isn't a Sherpa monocoque? Vans and the trucks with the panels attached to the body are. This one is an ex BT that had the separate box on the back I'd check that. If they're anything like the Transit etc the cab will be welded to the chassis, even on the supplied chassis cabs.

I'm asking on a 'need to know' basis. I NEED to know! Some random purist had a right rant about how we were destroying the P4, called us all a$sholes or similar. I straight up called him a c3nt and I get banned Figures hey! Ah well, i'm not missing anything. I can do without a daily pic of a P4 on eBay with 72 comments about how the wrong rivet has been used to hold a bit of trim on...

Sadly i'm going to sell my P4 project My garage is just too small to work on her properly. I bought her around 3 years ago with a current mot. There was a fault with the loom and the lighting circuit burnt out, so I stripped the loom out and she's sat ever since. I have wired up a new fuse box and the engine will run off they key, but nothing else is wired. The rear inner arches will need repairing and the normal a-pillar repairs will be needed. The front wings are grotty but repairable, I do have a set of fibreglass wings I can sell with her, but they'll be another £150 Tax and mot exempt This is the 100 model which is apparently the most desirable, has an overdrive and the 2.6 straight 6 engine. All the bits are there, but I'm really not in the mood to put it back together and besides, they'd just get in the way of you finishing the wiring. So they'll be placed inside the car. The price is £800 firm Pics are from when I got her, but show what she'd be like with the seats, lights etc bolted back in

I do indeed have one
Cant moan for the money.
Battery is around 25mins, I don't think you'd get much better.
It is only a 1300mah, so bigger capacity ones should be available and they're cheap these days.
The shell pivots for access and iirc the battery actually can be swapped out with the shell on

Doesn't the Friendee rot like an old Fiat?
The diesel engine sufferes horribly from coolant issues causing major damage to the head as well.
Shame as they're great

even if you probably won't be able to crack 100mph flat-out i I wouldn’t worry about hitting a ton, I think my balls would give out long before any theoretical top speed

My Scamp weighs roughly 500kg and will be getting a Toyota engine with 109bhp No idea what that equates to in real word figures. It does have the frontage of a house mind
