With regards to the YUGO SANA, I remember these (cheep) cars when new. And a major fault I remember was the front Mcpherson struts/inner wings were cracking/stress fracturing on some at only 18month to 2 year old. At first there was a recall issued by Yugo/Zastava UK division, but... then the Yugoslavian Civil War/Genocide campaign kicked off ... and Yugo Exports ceased and thus warranties were void. Incidently YUGO continued to produce cars all through the War and only ceased production when we poked our nose in/intervined in 1999 due to us (NATO) incorrectly bombing the factory (due to receiving incorrect info that AK47's were being made at said factory) ...oops.

For the Rover - not too much to worry about, just the usual rust issues. Also they were not built at the highest point in Rover's quality control but any badly built examples should have gone to the scrappers by now. They can be a bit of a pain for electrical faults, check stuff like electric windows and all the dash stuff works correctly. The later ones have the same EFI motor as the Vitesse (single plennum only though IIRC) and there may be oddities with this system I'm not familiar with.
The Rover V8 itself is generally trouble free. You may get a sticking hydraulic lifter or something, and if people haven't topped up the carb dashpot with oil regularly these can stick causing odd running problems. Also there are typically a whole bunchof breathers and flame traps on Rover engines which need to be cleaned and replaced at various intervals. Some owners forget to do these so always woth going through them when you buy one and check them all out.

Lots of SD1 parts, especially body panels available from Rimmer Bros. IIRC, panel availability & prices are very good!
