Yeah was kinda eventfull.. Sold the van this morn to a nice guy from cardiff.... Took the cash and went to view a C90 in basingstoke.. Decided it was right, very clean , and the right guy to buy one off... Insured it (puch policy) and actually got some money back haha.. Got quarter of the way home, and it cut out... Had to get it in the back of the sierra... Got it home, Swapped a new NGK cap onto it and its running like a dream.. Shame as i realy wanted to ride the 30miles on backroads

dead on £500... Normally i wouldnt spend that, But the guy was a real nice bloke. Knew hondas like the back of his hand, And had a few of em. Litterally just selling this one as he didnt have any need for it.. Also a little more would have bought a minter, But this isnt far off, and not SO clean that id be scared to get it dirty. Its now my only transport, So will get used. But i plan on looking after him

Ive always wanted a c90, but they're damn expensive! they are... But they hold their value very well. And save you loads in fuel bills ;D Literally halfing mine by owning it... Plus saving 800quid on insurance, and 200quid on tax ;D Think of all the other crappy bikes i can buy with that saving

I'd rather part with 500 noes for that than buy something less that 10 years old, made in China &/or has been hammered by a teenager. Honda Cubs are great little machines, she'll last for years. ;D

the c90s are a nice old bike. sound nice as well. would love one but I'm afraid I would have to customise it, looks too "old man" for me personally but then thats just my taste, I'm used to custom, tuned modern scooters (even if they do cost me a bloody fortune in repairs lol)

Honda Cubs are great little machines, she'll last for years. ;D Yeah same here dude, Followed a new chinese invova copy the other day in the workvan .. It was flat out , with his head down doing 40.. On a 125!! lol... My c90 does 55mph ;D Nice C90 you got there They're great bikes, this was the last one I had. Bought it as Spares or Repair for £225, got it running and serviced it, sold it for £400. Thats a nice 6 volter there dude I was very tempted by a local 6volt bike... But decided I needed a bike with 12volt lights, Still might get one as a toy though. They do look nice ;D The last 6volter I had I managed to drop a valve the c90s are a nice old bike. sound nice as well. would love one but I'm afraid I would have to customise it, looks too "old man" for me personally but then thats just my taste, I'm used to custom, tuned modern scooters (even if they do cost me a bloody fortune in repairs lol) Yeah I wont be customising this one. Although I know what you mean about the old man look haha. I'm getting used to that though, As no matter what I do to it (and still being able to do the comute, ) Its going to look old man-ish. So its staying standard... (Doesnt mean I wont get another to toy with lol)

These Chinese 4 strokes are cack, poorly built & perform equally bad. I looked at a Lifan (iirc) before I got the GN (I know, it was cheap & very local), it was a 50cc scoot & was out of breath at 30mph.......Felt like I was riding my old NE50 again without the build quality. ;D ;D ;D

my misses brother has a 125 lifan (suzuki gs125 copy) Utterly awefull bike. Flat out at 45/50 at a push. Screaming its nuts off and smokes (from new)
Also to get up to 45 takes forever. Each gear seemingly has the same ratio as the last.. and the exhaust falls appart internally..
utter SHE-ITE haha

45-50 max on a 125? I know the chinese ones were curse word (so much so that I wouldnt touch a chinese 125) but thats bad. My 50cc piaggio scooter does 50mph ish with ease and only has a racing exhaust thats all. mind you it is bloody loud. gotta love 2strokes with loud exhausts

I don't think I've read a good review about them, can't beat a descent J machine imo. ;D

Went out and rode the 90 around in the dark earlier... Testing the headlight honest Blooming loving this thing. As much as i love the puch (which is going to be re-built) Its nice to have a bike that goes when i want, And KEEPS going faultlessly... I can go from 50mph, Slow down and snap the throttle off and it just goes down to tickover nice and smooth.... No buggering around having to blip it to clear the excess fuel like the puch... haha... Although i have to agree, The NOISE that puch makes does put a smile on my face... lol
