I've taken a few more photos, haven't got any good ones of the whole car though, still learning with the camera, and haven't found any good locations ;D
Anyhow... This is what has been happening the last month or two.
Half of the photos were taken with my old cheapo camera, please excuse the quality..
I built a crossmember for the 5 speed out of a unknown ford member.

Then I mot'd it, as seen on the previous page. Here it is after I adjusted the caster to the mot officers liking ;D

Then the bashing with the lowering stick could commence.
![](http://img706.imageshack.us/img706/3938/p4200013e.jpg)
Old rear shocks, which apparently were some kind of super stiff gas filled ones.
More on these later
![](http://img191.imageshack.us/img191/6773/volvoshocks.jpg)
A friend had a pair of these zx gas filled ones for a volvo 240, which happened to fit.
They were even be a bit shorter, equalling free drop stops! ;D
They are accompanied by cut stock springs in the rear.

The front got some unidentified springs from the garage, which were way too soft, even with this nice surprise
![](http://img803.imageshack.us/img803/3235/shocks.jpg)
So after a bit of homebrew engineering the old rear shocks were added to the front suspension, making it properly firm.

I know the welds look like curse word, but I promise you, the do hold up ;D
Then I was scene for about 3 minutes.

More on the lowering results later.
I've also had a spare flywheel lightened
![](http://img35.imageshack.us/img35/4766/flywheell.jpg)
And will hopefully get a injected head any day now, with a big cam and adjustable gear.
I got this with the car

Spray chrome, but still looks better than the dirty brown/black one that's on there now..
As i'm not a huge fan of all-blue interiors I decided to try and paint the door cards.
Before

And 4 cans of generic spray paint later:

I also made a pod for some gauges out of stainless pipe.

Here's a failed shot of the gauges in the dark

I also made a boss for the grant steering wheel shown on the previous page.
Sadly I broke my gearlever before I got an interior shot, so here it is with a stock one:

When I get tired of the hellatucked™ look with the ugly 5 spokes i'm planning on trying to band these.
![](http://img821.imageshack.us/img821/5427/wheelsi.jpg)
20e they cost me ;D
I've also got a martelius 4-2-1 manifold, and built a stainless exhaust, with a single straight trhough muffler at the end.
Got it tucked away quite nicely.
![](http://img847.imageshack.us/img847/1593/tucked.jpg)
And now back to the lowering...
I built a front spoiler out of a rubber rear wing.
![](http://img808.imageshack.us/img808/1072/spoilr.jpg)
Yes I know, anyone can attach plastic bits and claim to be low, but how 'bout this?
![](http://img846.imageshack.us/img846/6504/scrubline.jpg)
And the (for now) final result

I'd love to hear some opinions
