Ah right, probably right then! I'll splice it in to the yellow wire - actually come to think of it the yellow wire on mine was split in half, tied together and taped up, I soldered it back together but it was probably from a wire to the horn in the past I guess?
You had yours running yet mate?

Haha, classy!
Just wired it in, need a new crimp but it's ready to plug in to the horn, finished switch wiring and wrapped and cable tied it and mounted it to the bars, rerouted the headlight wires and shortened them too - looks ok, its neat at least, hope it all works! I've shortened the wires to keep it as neat and concise as poss 'streamlined' if you will.

Thanks dude ;D I hate messy wires and cables, they do my head in! Just the final wire to the horn and the throttle cable to go. I spliced a wire into the the main yellow one and just have it hanging loose by the horn till I get a plug probably tomorrow

Been a spanner! Had another look and - ahem - throttle loop fits..... ;D So I set to sorting the carb out - as per the rear brake cable the throttle cable is too long - bout 2 cm of slack so I sorted that out in a similar way to the brakes using another adjuster from my BMX, but cut in half. Doesn't fit perfectly as the diameter is different but it does the job well. Fitted my fuel line and filter as well and thought I may as well fill her up and have a go at starting it..... Here's my first attempt at starting, thought I'd post it as it's quite amusing.... I had to leg it up and down the road for a while until finally it fired up and off I went! It's a right laugh - really good fun! Obviously didn't rev it up much or labour it as it's a fresh build but what a laugh! Spent a bit of time adjusting till it would idle and then took a vid Switch wiring slightly wrong - horn works but the light is on and then when you switch it to the middle the engine dies so I think the killswitch and a headlamp wire is muddled up - but she runs! First time in god knows how many years so I'm pretty chuffed to be honest! ;D

Thanks guys ;D can't get over how much fun it was goin up the road and it shifts too! ;D I'm gonna try and get it on the road asap now, couple of things to do: In no particular order I need to: swap a couple of wires in the switch, mount the rear light, order and fit the rear number plate, lube the throttle grip a bit as it seems a bit stiff That's it as far as I can tell at the moment... Time will tell! Best look into getting my CRB... ;D

Haha oops! I mean CBT!! ;D
As far as I know there is no problem having no front guard, I have no stabiliser on it and although I wasnt goin too fast or anything it didn't feel unstable, think I'm gonna keep the forks as they are for now, with no guard on. Are you fitting the stabiliser to yours?
