As the title suggests, how many cars do you currently own? Also, what's your record number at any one time? Mine is: Current: 4 (+ 1 Series 2 Landrover the DVLA think I still have) '72 VW Camper '82 Ford Cortina '85 Ford Escort Cabriolet '92 Ford Sierra Saphire and no I'm not a Ford man, I just keep ending up with the bloody things. Best: 6 Not bad but pretty tame. A mate of mine currently owns and part owns (but mostly owns) a total of over 30 cars! This includes at least 10 Rover SD1's at any one time. Regards, Smiler.

it doesn't matter if it's a Morris Marina or a Toyota Celica - it's what you do with it that counts

Two at present: '81 Volvo 264 and a '75 Mercedes 200 W115. I'm rarely down to just one car, but I think the most cars I've owned at any one time stands at just 3 - The Merc above, an '87 BMW 525i and a certain Mazda 929 Estate.

Three at the moment, Herald, Oxford and Sun-Tor. Most was 5 I think (Herald, Oxford, Rapier, Marina TC donor and 306TD - our one and only modern car ever) and I had to choose between three of them to take to work.
Three is a good number as it is usually possible to keep them all going and so there's a spare if one of them stops going for any reason. Also with off road space for only one we'd start filling up the road.

Wow, a fantastic load of variety there. We should have our own show! Pitty we can't get all our cars in one place at the same time. (Most of my fleet is in bits and even if it weren't, I couldn't drive them all at once!)
I tend to find excuses for keeping a large number of cars. The camper is usefull for moving large things and as it's tax free it only costs me an MOT each year. I insure it as a second car as required, costs me about £12 for a week.
The Escort is a four seater convertible for the summer.
The Cortina is my retro fun car with a big engine.
The Scimitar if I get it will be my next project with a 5.0ltr V8 conversion and the odd trip to santa pod.
The Triumph Dolly Sprint if I got it would be my track day car.
And there's more!!!
